GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Rainbow 2,4-D 450 is a water-soluble liquid herbicide effective against broadleaf weeds. Here are some guidelines for its use:

WEED CONTROL:

• Controls emerged weeds only and provides no residual control.

• Effects may take 7-10 days to appear, possibly up to 21 days under cold or cloudy conditions.

• Do not treat weeds under poor growing conditions like drought, waterlogging, or heavily dust-covered weeds.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT:

• Recommended as a herbicide additive to glyphosate before crop establishment.

• Follow plant back periods to ensure safe sowing of the intended crop.

• Delay sowing in conditions like heavy weed growth, soil compaction, cold and wet soils, or prior use of residual herbicides.

APPLICATION WITH BOOM EQUIPMENT:

• Apply in spray volumes of 25-100 L/ha, ensuring double overlap of nozzle patterns.

• Adjust boom height for adequate coverage of the weed canopy.

AERIAL APPLICATION:

• Use Micronair or boom equipment with a minimum spray volume of 15 L/ha.

• Increase water volume to 30 L/ha when temperatures reach 25ºC.

• Avoid applying by aircraft when temperature is above 35ºC.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE:

• Use stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, fibreglass, or plastic-lined containers for mixing, storing, and applying.

• Clean equipment thoroughly after use to prevent reaction with the herbicide.

COMPATIBILITY:

• Compatible with various herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants for tank mixing.

• Follow label directions for specific compatibility and application rates.

SURFACTANT ADDITION:

• Add a non-ionic surfactant or acidifying surfactant as directed, especially when tank-mixing with Rainbow Glyphosate 450.

• Do not mix with spraying oils or other agricultural chemicals unless directed on the label.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water and start agitation.

2. Add recommended additives, herbicides, and insecticides, mixing thoroughly.

3. Add Rainbow 2,4-D 450 and mix thoroughly.

4. Add Rainbow Glyphosate 450 and remaining water.

5. Maintain agitation during application and use the tank mix promptly.
