GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - KENSO AGCARE 570 LVE MCPA HERBICIDE

Before Application:

  • Read Directions for Use, Precautionary Statements, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions before opening the product.
  • Target weeds during their active growth stages. For annuals, spray when young, and for perennials, just prior to the bud stage.
  • Avoid extremes of cold or drought. Ideal conditions include moist soil, fine weather, and no rain expected within 6 hours post-application.
  • Do not spray in high winds.

Application/Mixing Information:

  • Mixes readily with water. Half-fill the spray tank with clean water, add the required product amount, and agitate thoroughly before adding the remaining water.
  • Boom Spraying: Use 30-120 L/ha of water.
  • Aerial Spraying: Use 10-90 L/ha of water.

Equipment Maintenance and Usage:

  • Equipment used for this chemical should not be used for applying other materials to sensitive plants unless thoroughly cleaned with Spraymate Tank & Equipment Cleaner, followed by clear water rinses.

Compatibility/Tank Mixes:

  • Compatible with Ken-Up, Kenso Agcare Dicamba 500, Bromicide®, Kenso Agcare Diuron 500, Flowable Igran®, Ken-Met 600, Max Out 540, Grasp®, Ken-Grass 375, Ken-Gran 750, Nugrex/Tigrex®, Kenso Agcare Ken-Trel, Propon®, Puma®.
  • When tank mixing, add the compatible product when the spray tank is nearly full and continuously agitate. If left overnight, agitate thoroughly before spraying.
  • When mixing with Ken-Grass 375, add an approved surfactant and do not exceed 615mL of 570 LVE MCPA per hectare.
  • For consistent results, use a minimum of 80L water per ha by ground and 30L by air. If wild oats are present, use 2L Ken-Grass 375 per hectare.

Resistance Warning - GROUP I HERBICIDE:

  • 570 LVE MCPA is a Group I herbicide, a member of the Phenoxys group with a disruptor of plant cell growth mode of action.
  • Weed resistance management is crucial. Some weed biotypes resistant to 570 LVE MCPA and other Group I herbicides may exist.
  • Continuous use may lead to resistant weed dominance. Crop Care Australasia Pty Ltd assumes no liability for losses resulting from the failure to control resistant weeds.

Protection of Crops, Native, and Non-target Plants:

  • Do not apply under conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, pastures, or cropping lands.
  • Avoid spray drift and vapor movement onto crops like cotton, vines, tomatoes, vegetables, fruit trees, lucerne, legume crops, oilseed crops, or other susceptible crops or trees.
  • Lucerne and medics should not be sprayed under any circumstances, as severe damage will result.
