GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AC Ruka 850 WG Herbicide is a residual, soil-applied, pre-emergent herbicide absorbed by the roots and shoots of germinating weeds. It inhibits growth in the meristematic area, effectively preventing weed emergence when applied evenly to moist soil before sowing. Optimal weed control requires sufficient rainfall soon after sowing to ensure herbicide uptake by germinating weeds.

CROP SAFETY
When used as directed, AC Ruka 850 WG Herbicide generally exhibits good crop selectivity. However, certain precautions should be followed to minimize the risk of crop effects, such as avoiding planting durum wheat after application and ensuring proper incorporation to prevent concentration of herbicide in the planting row.

INCORPORATION BY SOWING
Apply AC Ruka 850 WG Herbicide before sowing and incorporate using knife points and press wheels or narrow points and harrows. Incorporation by knife points and press wheels may not control weeds germinating in the seed row.

INTERVAL BETWEEN APPLICATION AND SOWING
Incorporate by sowing as soon as possible after application, but no later than 3 days after. Delayed incorporation may reduce weed control efficacy.

SANDY SOILS
Weed control may be diminished in soil prone to leaching, where heavy rainfall post-application causes movement of the herbicide out of the weed seed zone.

SUPPRESSION OF SPECIFIC WEEDS
AC Ruka 850 WG Herbicide is most effective on grass weed seeds near the soil surface. Control may decrease as weed seed depth increases. Partial control or suppression of weeds like great brome and wild oat is typical, requiring follow-up post-emergent herbicide applications for complete control.

MIXING AND APPLICATION
Ensure sprayer and nozzle filters are clean before preparing the spray mixture. Apply with standard boom sprayers, using coarse droplet size category for optimal coverage. Avoid poor spray coverage resulting from ridge or excessively cloddy soil, high stubble, or excessive plant residue.

COMPATIBILITY
AC Ruka 850 WG Herbicide is compatible with certain herbicides and insecticides for specific crops, such as wheat, triticale, chickpeas, field peas, lentils, and lupins. Follow label instructions for proper tank mixing and compatibility information. Certain residual herbicides have shown compatibility with AC Ruka 850 WG Herbicide for various legume crops, but plantback restrictions may apply.
