General Instructions:

Mixing:

  • Measure the required amount of ADMIRAL ADVANCE and add to the partly filled spray tank with water. Then, add the remaining water.

Application:

COTTON:

  • Ensure thorough coverage.

  • Ground Application: Apply in 100 – 150 L water/ha. Ground application must be the first option; aerial application may only be considered if canopy closure prevents ground access.

  • Apply when industry-recommended thresholds of silverleaf whitefly (SLW) are exceeded.

  • DO NOT apply more than two applications per crop.

  • DO NOT apply consecutive applications; use as part of an SLW management strategy with other approved chemistry.

  • Minimum re-treatment interval between applications: 14 days.

FRUITING VEGETABLES (CUCURBITS AND NON-CUCURBITS):

  • Ensure thorough coverage.

  • Ground Application: Apply by foliar spray in 100 – 150 L water per hectare. For dense crops, use a high water volume of 500 – 1000 L/ha.

  • If applying more than 1000 L/ha, use a rate of 50 mL/100L water.

  • Apply when whiteflies first appear.

  • Similar restrictions as for cotton apply regarding application frequency and consecutive applications.

CITRUS, MANGOES, and OLIVES:

  • Apply in sufficient water to ensure thorough coverage. For young trees, approximately 1000L/ha.

  • DO NOT apply less than 1000L/ha to bearing trees.

  • DO NOT use spraying equipment carried on the back of the user.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • After use, empty the tank and drain the system completely. Rinse the tank, pump, lines, hoses, filters, and nozzles thoroughly by circulating clean water through the system. Repeat the rinsing procedure twice.

RE-ENTRY:

  • DO NOT enter treated areas for two days after application unless wearing appropriate protective clothing. Launder contaminated clothing after each day's use.

INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • ADMIRAL ADVANCE is a Group 7C insecticide. Some naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to ADMIRAL ADVANCE and other Group 7C insecticides may exist. Overuse may lead to reduced effectiveness.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Highly toxic to aquatic organisms. DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, waterways, or dams with the chemical or used containers.

  • DO NOT spray across open bodies of water or apply to crops other than cotton.

  • Employ strategies to minimize spray drift, especially near sensitive areas.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in closed original containers in a well-ventilated, cool area. Triple rinse containers before disposal.

  • Follow local regulations for disposal. DO NOT burn empty containers or product.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Wear appropriate protective clothing when handling the product.

  • Wash hands and contaminated clothing after use.
