GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Insecticide Resistance Warning
For insecticide resistance management, Alsystin 480 SC is a Group 15A insecticide. Some naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to Alsystin 480 SC and other Group 15A insecticides may exist through normal genetic variability in any insect population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the insect population if Alsystin 480 SC and other Group 15A insecticides are used repeatedly. The effectiveness of Alsystin 480 SC on resistant individuals could be significantly reduced. Since occurrence of resistant individuals is difficult to detect prior to use, Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of Alsystin 480 SC to control resistant insects. Alsystin 480 SC may be subject to specific resistance management strategies. For further information contact your local supplier, Bayer CropScience representative or local agricultural department agronomist.

Mixing
Mix Alsystin 480 SC in sufficient water to uniformly and accurately apply the required amount to the casing or compost – see Critical Comments in the Directions for Use table.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

MUSHROOMS
Pest: Sciarid flies
Rate: Casing treatment - 10 mL/300 L bale of peat moss, i.e. 73 mL/tonne of casing
Critical comments: Dilute Alsystin 480 SC in a sufficient volume of water to enable the product to be incorporated thoroughly into casing to the point of saturation.
Rate: Compost treatment – 21 mL/tonne of compost
Critical comments: For use if sciarid infestation during spawn run: dilute Alsystin 480 SC in a sufficient volume of water to enable the product to be incorporated thoroughly into the compost to the point of saturation. Apply to compost after peak heating. Incorporate thoroughly.
