GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

eChem Amitraz 200 EC/ULV Insecticide/Miticide

1. MIXING:

   • Always mix with the registered rate of a compatible larvicide.
   • Can be used directly from the container in a ULV application or in a water-based low-volume EC application.
   • Two-thirds fill the spray tank with clean water.
   • Add the required quantity of eChem Amitraz 200 EC/ULV with the agitator operating.
   • Top up the spray tank to the required volume with clean water with continuous agitation.
   • Add the required quantity of organosilicone penetrant or non-ionic surfactant after mixing is complete.
   • Maintain agitation while spraying.

2. Insecticide Resistance Warning GROUP 19A INSECTICIDE:

   • eChem Amitraz 200 EC/ULV is a Group 19A insecticide.
   • Resistance management strategies are recommended to prevent the dominance of resistant insect populations.

3. Export of Treated Produce:

   • Check for Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) and import tolerances in export markets before using eChem Amitraz 200 EC/ULV.

4. ULV Applications:

   • Fill the required volume of eChem Amitraz 200 EC/ULV into the aircraft hopper.
   • Add the required volume of a compatible larvicide with agitation operating.
   • Use the prepared spray mixture immediately.
   • Apply as ULV by aircraft fitted with calibrated ULV equipment.
   • Thorough coverage is essential.
   • DO NOT let the mixture stand in the aircraft hopper overnight.

5. Compatibility for ULV Applications:

   • Compatible with Decis Forte1 EC & ULV, Decis Options1, Larvin1 350 LV, methyl parathion, Curacron1 ULV.
   • Compatibility with Thiodan ULV and Ampol Green, DC Tron1 Plus, DC Tron Cotton.
   • Not compatible with Thiodan ULV and Folimat 800.
   • Not recommended for use with products based on Bacillus thuringiensis.

6. EC Applications:

   • Part-fill the spray tank with water.
   • Add eChem Amitraz 200 EC/ULV with the agitator running.
   • Add the larvicide and complete filling the tank.
   • Use prepared spray mixture immediately.
   • Accurate placement and good foliar coverage are essential.

7. Compatibility for EC Applications:

   • Compatible with Thiodan EC, Decis Forte EC, mepiquat chloride, Curacron 500 EC, Folimat 800, Larvin 375 SC, Talstar1 100 EC.
   • Combinations with Larvin 375 SC should be used within 6 hours of mixing.
   • Not recommended for use with products based on Bacillus thuringiensis.

8. Re-entry Period:

   • Do not allow entry into treated areas until the spray deposits have dried.
   • Wear appropriate protective clothing if entry is necessary.

9. Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

   • Dangerous to fish. Avoid contamination of water bodies.
   • The empty container must not be reused for any other purpose.

10. Spray Drift:

    • Avoid conditions that could cause spray drift onto adjacent crops, croplands, pasture, or livestock.

11. STORAGE:

    • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
    • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

12. DISPOSAL:

    • Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal.
    • Dispose of rinsings in a disposal pit designated for this purpose.
    • Follow recycling or landfill disposal methods as appropriate.
    • Do not burn empty containers or product.
