GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - Imtrade Annihilate 200 SC All Purpose Insecticide

INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • Imtrade Annihilate 200 SC is a Group 4A Insecticide.
  • Insecticide resistance management is crucial.
  • Resistant insect biotypes may exist; rotation with registered insecticides from other mode of action groups is recommended.
  • Imtrade accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Annihilate 200 SC to control resistant insects.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY:

  1. Cotton Aphid in Cotton:
    • Follow the cotton industry Insecticide Resistance Management Strategy.
  2. Aphids, Whitefly, and Melon Thrips in Various Crops:
    • DO NOT apply Imtrade Annihilate 200 SC in consecutive sprays within and between seasons.
    • Rotate with registered insecticides from other mode of action groups.
  3. Confined Environments (Glasshouses):
    • Annuals: DO NOT apply more than one spray of Imtrade Annihilate 200 SC to any one crop.
    • Perennials: Rotate with registered insecticides from other groups; a maximum of three sprays in any 12-month period.

MIXING/APPLICATION:

  • Shake container vigorously before pouring.
  • Add the required quantity to water in the spray vat while stirring or with agitators in motion.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR STONE FRUIT:

  1. Dilute Spraying:
    • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes.
    • Apply water to cover the crop to the point of runoff.
    • Add the specified amount of product per 100L of water.
    • Adjust settings as the crop grows.
  2. Concentrate Spraying:
    • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
    • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume.
    • Calculate the concentrate mixing rate based on the dilute rate.
    • Adjust settings as the crop grows.
    • DO NOT exceed specified concentrate rates.

APPLICATION (COTTON):

  • Thorough coverage is essential for maximum performance.
  • Calibrate equipment for a minimum of 60 droplets/cm2 on the target foliage.
  • Use a droplet Volume Median Diameter (VMD) based on equipment type.

GROUND APPLICATION (COTTON):

  • Use hollow cone nozzles with a minimum spray volume of 100L/ha.
  • A droplet VMD of 150–180 microns must be used.
  • Ensure correct nozzle overlap pattern on the target foliage.

AERIAL APPLICATION (COTTON):

  • Apply in a minimum spray volume of 25L/ha.
  • A droplet VMD of 120–150 microns must be used.
  • DO NOT use Ultra Low Volume (ULV) methods; avoid large droplet placement equipment.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Imtrade Annihilate 200 SC is compatible with Propineb, Bitertanol, Methamidophos.
  • DO NOT mix concentrates together; test mixtures before use.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:

  • Dangerous to bees; DO NOT spray plants in flower while bees are foraging.
  • DO NOT graze treated areas or feed harvested produce to animals.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Follow storage and disposal instructions based on container type.
  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated area; avoid prolonged sunlight exposure.
  • Triple rinse containers before disposal; DO NOT burn empty containers.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Harmful if swallowed; may irritate eyes and skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin; wear protective clothing during preparation.
  • Wash hands after use; wash gloves, goggles, and contaminated clothing after each use.
