GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

RELYON METSULFURON 600 WG HERBICIDE is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed through roots and foliage, acting by inhibiting cell division in meristems, thus halting growth. Some crops are highly sensitive to low concentrations of this product. Delayed treatment or adverse conditions may result in slow or stunted weed growth.

CEREALS: Apply early post-emergence (3 leaf to before booting) when weeds are small (no greater than 5cm) and actively growing. Best results occur with sufficient rainfall within 4 weeks of application.

BRUSH AND HERBACEOUS WEEDS: Apply when actively growing. Delayed treatment or adverse conditions may result in slow or partial weed control. Retreatment advised for regrowth, especially for blackberries.

PASTURE OR PASTURE RENOVATION: Allow weeds to recover from grazing before application. Some grasses may be damaged, and legumes may be removed. Damage to ryegrass and impact on clover seed set may occur.

SPRAY PREPARATION: Partially fill the spray tank with water. Measure the required amount of RELYON METSULFURON 600 WG HERBICIDE using the provided measuring cone. Add to the tank with agitation engaged. Top up with water. Keep the mixture in suspension at all times by continuous agitation.

COMPATIBILITY: Ensure RELYON METSULFURON 600 WG HERBICIDE is in suspension before adding companion herbicides or surfactants. Slurry the herbicide in water before mixing with liquid fertilizer. Check compatibility before mixing with fertilizers. Do not add surfactants/wetting agents.

CROP SAFETY: Do not use in winter cereal crops undersown with legume pasture species. Avoid application to sensitive wheat varieties. Careful consideration needed when applying after another sulfonylurea herbicide treatment. Avoid application to stressed crops or under adverse conditions to prevent crop injury.

SPRAYER CLEANUP: Thoroughly clean the sprayer with water after use. Rinse with household chlorine bleach for crops other than cereals. Dispose of all cleaning water.
