GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
ARSENAL SUPER is an aqueous solution of herbicide effective against standing weeds and emerging seedlings. It halts growth rapidly, though symptoms may take over 30 days to become apparent. Affected plants exhibit discoloration and distorted growth. The active ingredient is rapidly absorbed through foliage and roots, translocating throughout plants. Foliage treatments offer pre-emergence control as the active material is released into the soil following plant decay. Residual weed control increases with the higher application rate.

APPLICATION: For faster control, favorable growing conditions at and after application are ideal. Rainfall within two hours of drying may reduce effectiveness.

SPRAYING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Medium Volume (Boom) Application: Use a calibrated spray boom for even coverage. Choose nozzles to prevent spray drift. Apply a minimum volume of 50L/ha. Higher water volumes enhance accuracy and evenness.

  • High Volume (Handgun & Knapsack) Application: Wet the surface visibly without runoff. Do not exceed recommended rates. Mixing rates provided are based on 1000L of water per hectare. Deviations require recalibration.

MIXING: Pour ARSENAL SUPER into a container with the total required water and mix thoroughly. Excessive foaming may occur; consult your distributor for antifoaming agents. Use stainless steel, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers due to mild steel corrosion. Compatible with hard or soft water.

COMPATIBILITY: Certain herbicides can be mixed for faster weed control, but avoid bipyridyl herbicides like paraquat, which are incompatible and result in poor control.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING: GROUP 2 HERBICIDE: ARSENAL SUPER belongs to the imidazolinone group with inhibition of acetolactate synthase (ALS) mode of action. It's important for resistance management as some weed biotypes resistant to Group 2 herbicides may exist. Continuous use can lead to resistant weed domination, which ARSENAL SUPER won't control. Detection of resistant weeds pre-use is difficult, and BASF Australia Ltd. doesn't accept liability for losses resulting from resistant weed control failure.
