General Instructions:

Albaugh Aureo 250 Herbicide is a water-soluble herbicide effective against standing weeds and emerging seedlings. It halts plant growth rapidly, with symptoms taking over 30 days to develop. The active ingredient is absorbed through foliage and roots, translocating throughout plants. Foliage treatments provide pre-emergence control, and the herbicide is released to the soil following plant decay.

Application:

• Faster control is achieved under favorable growing conditions.
• Rainfall within two hours of drying may reduce weed control.

Spraying Instructions:

• For medium volume spraying, use a calibrated spray boom for even coverage.
• Use suitable nozzles to prevent spray drift onto desirable vegetation.
• For high volume application, use a handgun or knapsack, applying enough spray to visibly wet the surface without runoff.

Mixing:

• Pour the required amount of Albaugh Aureo 250 Herbicide into a container holding the total water needed.
• Mix thoroughly. If foaming occurs, add an antifoaming agent.
• Use ONLY stainless steel, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers for mixing, storage, and application.
• The product is corrosive to mild steel.

Resistance Warning:

• Member of the imidazolinone group (Group B herbicide) with ALS mode of action.
• Weed resistance management is crucial; repeated use may lead to resistant weed dominance.

Precautions:

Protection of Crops, Native, and Non-Target Plants:

• Avoid application under conditions causing drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or non-target areas.
• Do not apply on or near desirable trees or plants, where roots may extend, or where runoff can reach their roots.
• Dispose of washings away from desirable plants.

Protection of Livestock:

• Low hazard to bees; can be applied to plants at any time.
• Do not graze or use vegetation treated with Albaugh Aureo 250 Herbicide for stock feed.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

• Avoid contamination of streams, rivers, or waterways with the herbicide or used containers.

Storage and Disposal:

• Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
• Triple-rinse containers before disposal; add rinsings to the spray tank.
• Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
• Recycle clean containers or deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
• For refillable containers, return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
