General Instructions: WEED CONTROL - Imtrade Avargo 900 EC Herbicide

WEED CONTROL:

• Imtrade Avargo 900 EC Herbicide provides 6 to 8 weeks control of Wild Oats.
• Control is effective when the seedbed is moist during Wild Oats emergence.
• Under very dry conditions (top 2cm soil surface), control may not be achieved.
• Emerged Wild Oats are not controlled.

CROP SAFETY:

• Reduced emergence of Cereals and Linseed may occur if seed is placed in treated soil.
• DO NOT plant cereal crops deeper than 5 to 7cm.
• Overspraying of headlands or corners may result in crop damage.
• On heavy clay soils, wheel tracks may experience crop thinning.
• Environmental conditions affecting emergence may predispose crops to injury.

SOIL PERSISTENCE AND FOLLOWING CROPS:

• Under prolonged dry conditions, Imtrade Avargo 900 EC Herbicide may persist.
• Damage to Field Oats and Sorghum may occur.

MIXING:

• Imtrade Avargo 900 EC Herbicide is an oily concentrate that mixes readily with water.
• Add the required amount to half the required water in the spray tank.
• Mix thoroughly and add the remaining water.

APPLICATION:

• Apply to friable soil for uniform incorporation at 2 to 4 cm depth.
• Soil should be free of large clods (>75mm) and crop/weed residue.
• Avoid interference with soil flow through planting equipment.
• Emerged Wild Oats should be controlled before incorporation.

SPRAYING INSTRUCTIONS:

• Apply by ground sprayer in 30 to 100L of water per hectare.
• Use a boomspray fitted with flat fan nozzles at 200-240kPa pressure.
• Avoid application under strong or gusty wind conditions.
• DO NOT apply by aircraft.

INCORPORATION:

• Two-pass incorporation is superior on heavier textured soils.
• Incorporate initially with heavy harrows or tyned cultivator.
• Final incorporation with a combine or airseed/cultivator is essential.
• Trail heavy tyned harrows or rotary harrow to complete incorporation.
• Incorporation equipment should not exceed 5 to 7cm depth.

COMPATIBILITY:

• Imtrade Avargo 900 EC Herbicide is compatible with various herbicides including Roundup, Glyphosate, and others.
• Follow label directions, restraints, plant-back periods, and safety instructions for tank mix products.

• Imtrade Avargo 900 EC Herbicide is a Group J Herbicide.
• Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Group J Herbicides may exist.
• Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd is not liable for losses due to the failure of Imtrade Avargo 900 EC Herbicide to control resistant weeds.
