WARNING:
Azoxystrobin is extremely harmful to certain apple varieties. Avoid spray drift at all costs. Take extreme care to prevent injury to apple trees. Do not spray TITAN Azoxystrobin Extra Fungicide where spray drift could reach apple trees. Do not spray when conditions favor drift beyond the intended application area, such as during thermal inversions, excessive wind speed, specific nozzle/pressure combinations, small spray droplet sizes, etc. Never use spray equipment previously used for TITAN Azoxystrobin Extra Fungicide on apple trees, as even trace amounts can cause unacceptable damage.
Mixing:
TITAN Azoxystrobin Extra Fungicide is a suspension concentrate (SC) that mixes readily with water and is applied as a spray. Partially fill the spray tank with water and start agitation. Add the correct amount of product to the tank with the agitation system running. Continue agitation while topping up the tank with water and spraying. Use the prepared spray mix within 24 hours.
Growing Conditions:
Apply TITAN Azoxystrobin Extra Fungicide under good growing conditions with adequate soil moisture. Do not use on crops under stress from dry, wet, frosty conditions, nutrient deficiency, or high insect pressure, as results may be unreliable.
Spray Timing:
Always inspect crops for disease development immediately before spraying. Best results come from applications made in the earliest stages of disease development or as a preventative treatment following a disease risk assessment.
Cereals:
Apply TITAN Azoxystrobin Extra Fungicide within crop growth stages ranging from tillering to early flowering (Z26 to Z62). The goal is to keep the upper 2-3 leaves green and functioning during grain filling.
Peanuts:
Apply to control diseases and stop defoliation during pegging or pod fill stages, ensuring stems are strong enough for harvesting.
Application:
Apply by boom spray or aircraft, ensuring complete coverage of all leaves and stems.
Cereals - Boom application:
Use 50-100 liters of water per hectare with flat fan nozzles and a fine to medium quality spray pattern at pressures ranging from 100 to 400kPa.
Aerial application:
Use 20-30 liters of water per hectare with a fine to medium quality spray. Use the lower rate with a crosswind of at least 5 knots and higher rates for dense crops.
Peanuts - Boom application:
Use 150-500 liters of water per hectare with hollow cone nozzles or flat fans and a fine to medium quality spray pattern. Use pressures of 500-1000kPa for hollow cones and 150-300kPa for flat fan nozzles.
Aerial application:
Use 25-60 liters of water per hectare with a FINE to MEDIUM droplet size category spray. Use the lower rate with a crosswind of at least 5 knots and higher rates for dense crops.
Chickpeas, Lentils - Ground application:
Apply as a foliar spray using 50-100 liters of water per hectare.
Aerial application:
Use aircraft with accurately calibrated equipment and apply a minimum total spray volume of 30-50 liters per hectare with nozzles set to a minimum droplet size category of MEDIUM (e.g., Micro rotary atomizers, CP nozzles, or conventional hydraulic nozzles).
Compatibility/Tank Mixing:
While physically compatible with a wide range of products, the biological compatibility of mixtures may not be fully tested under all conditions. Mixtures with other products may be ineffective or cause damage. If using tank mixes, follow all directions, precautions, and limitations on all products. As formulations of other manufacturers' products are beyond the control of TITAN AG Pty Ltd, and water quality varies with location, all mixtures should be tested before mixing commercial quantities.
Resistance Warning:
TITAN Azoxystrobin Extra Fungicide is a combination of a DMI and a Quinone outside inhibitors (QoI) fungicide, classified as both a Group 3 and Group 11 fungicide for resistance management. Some naturally occurring individual fungi resistant to this and other Group 3 and/or Group 11 fungicides may exist. These resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungi population if these fungicides are used repeatedly, rendering them ineffective and potentially causing yield loss. As the occurrence of resistant fungi is difficult to detect before use, TITAN AG Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses resulting from the failure of TITAN Azoxystrobin Extra Fungicide to control resistant fungi.
Precautions:
Re-entry period: Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried unless wearing cotton overalls or equivalent clothing and chemical resistant gloves. Launder clothing after each use.
