Pyramin Selective is a pre-emergent herbicide that controls a broad spectrum of weeds in sugar beet, fodder beet, red beet, and mangolds. It can also be used to control weeds in onions, chives, and leeks. Pyramin Selective contains the active ingredient chloridazon, which is a herbicide that works by inhibiting the growth of roots and shoots of weeds.

Benefits of Pyramin Selective:

  • Controls weeds effectively without affecting the crop.
  • Has a long residual effect, providing control for up to 4 weeks.
  • Can be applied in a variety of spray applications, including pre-emergence, post-emergence, and band sprays.
  • Is safe for use around people and animals when used as directed.

How to Use Pyramin Selective:

  1. Apply Pyramin Selective when soil conditions are moist and warm, and when the weeds are small (0.5-2 inches tall).
  2. Apply Pyramin Selective in a spray application at a rate of 1.5-2.5 pounds per acre.
  3. For pre-emergence control, apply Pyramin Selective before the weeds emerge.
  4. For post-emergence control, apply Pyramin Selective after the weeds have emerged but before they have begun to flower.
  5. For band sprays, apply Pyramin Selective in a band 10-12 inches wide over the crop row.
