GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

BIFENTIN 80 SC is an insecticide/miticide effective for both contact and residual control. It can be applied preventively at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment for existing pests. Optimal results are achieved when applied before pest populations reach damaging levels.

Urban Pest Management:

  • BIFENTIN 80 SC is potent against various urban pests like ants, cockroaches, fleas, flies, mosquitoes, spiders, ticks, and wasps. It works through direct contact and residual action on treated surfaces.

Service Requirements:

  • Regular inspections by licensed pest control operators are crucial, with higher frequency recommended in high-risk termite areas. The Australian Standard AS 4349.3 outlines inspection details to detect termite activity promptly and prevent damage.

Treatment In Conjunction with Physical Barriers:

  • Combining physical barriers with BIFENTIN 80 SC soil barriers requires adherence to relevant product specifications and Australian Standard AS 3660 Series for proper installation.

Application to Turf Areas:

  • Dilute BIFENTIN 80 SC with water before application for even coverage. A minimum spray volume of 200 L/ha is recommended for thorough incorporation into turf thatch and upper soil layers.

Mixing:

  • Add the required amount of BIFENTIN 80 SC to water in the spray tank and ensure thorough mixing. Maintain agitation during both mixing and application.

Surfactants:

  • BIFENTIN 80 SC contains a surfactant, eliminating the need for additional surfactants.

INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • BIFENTIN 80 SC belongs to Group 3A insecticides. Insect populations may develop resistance if exposed repeatedly. Follow specific resistance management strategies and consult local suppliers or Farmalinx Pty Ltd representatives for guidance.

PRECAUTIONS AND RE-ENTRY PERIOD:

  • Avoid spraying directly on humans, pets, or food surfaces. Wear suitable protective clothing during handling and allow treated areas to dry completely before re-entry.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prevent contamination of water bodies and remove or cover food and water containers, fish ponds, and aquariums before spraying.

PROTECTION OF PETS AND LIVESTOCK:

  • Avoid spraying plants in flower during bee foraging times. Remove animals and pets from treated areas before spraying.
