GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Product Characteristics: The product is translocated throughout the plant, causing damage to both foliage and roots. Optimal application time is during active growth, under moderate climatic conditions, and when plants are disease and dirt-free.

Chemical Activity:

  • Symptoms of chemical effect typically appear 2-7 days after spraying for annual species and 2-3 weeks for perennial species.
  • Symptoms include yellowing, wilting, and progressing to browning.

Safety to Crops:

  • Avoid contact with desirable crops, plants, or trees, as the chemical is non-selective.
  • Guidelines include avoiding wind drift towards desirable plants, using larger droplet settings, and avoiding spraying in high winds, still air, or hot days.

Spray Preparation:

  1. Ensure the tank is clean and free of residues.
  2. Fill the tank halfway with clean water, avoiding soil particles or hard water.
  3. Add the recommended amount of product, mixing well to prevent foaming.
  4. Fill the tank with water, removing the hose to prevent back siphoning.
  5. Do not use mechanical agitators, and avoid adding non-approved chemicals.

Surfactant:

  • Addition of surfactant may enhance weed control under specific conditions.
  • Recommended surfactant rates are provided.

Organosilicone Penetrant:

  • In certain situations, the addition of an organosilicone penetrant may enhance weed control.

Rainfall Effects:

  • Heavy rain within 2 hours of spraying may reduce effectiveness.
  • Normal rain within 6 hours may also impact effectiveness.
  • Apply when weeds are not stressed by conditions like drought, waterlogging, or frost.

Soil Persistence:

  • The product is not persistent and is rapidly broken down by soil microbes and moisture.
  • Refer to the "Compatibility Section" for residual activity.

Resistant Weeds Warning:

  • Member of the glycine group with EPSP synthase inhibition mode.
  • Classified as a Group M Herbicide.
  • Warns against potential resistant weed development and provides guidelines.

Application Equipment:

  • Specifies equipment types for application, including knapsack, handgun, boom, wiper, and aerial.

Equipment Specifics:

  • Details optimal pressure, nozzles, and volumes for different equipment types.
  • Caution regarding non-selectivity and potential drift.

Wiper Equipment:

  • Provides guidelines for wiper equipment, including mixing rates and application recommendations.
  • Emphasizes the importance of vehicle speed and uniform application.

Rate Recommendation:

  • Details specific rates for preparing a 33% solution.

Additional Recommendations:

  • Specific recommendations for various equipment types and situations are highlighted throughout the text.
