GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

RESISTANCE WEED WARNING:

ACP Blue Chip 540 Herbicide, belonging to the Glycines group, operates through the inhibition of EPSP synthase. It is classified as a Group M Herbicide. Due to potential resistance in naturally occurring weed biotypes, the repeated use of ACP Blue Chip 540 Herbicide and other Group M herbicides might lead to dominance by resistant weeds. Australis Crop Protection Pty Ltd bears no liability for losses resulting from the herbicide's failure to control resistant weeds.

GROUP M HERBICIDE:

CROP ESTABLISHMENT:

ACP Blue Chip 540 Herbicide is recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Adequate conditions for crop emergence and establishment are necessary after herbicide application. In areas with heavy weed growth or unfavorable soil conditions, planting should be delayed. Practices like cultivation, grazing, and trash incorporation may affect weed decay and enhance suitable seedbed formation.

MIXING:

  • ACP Blue Chip 540 Herbicide mixes well with water. Reduced results may occur if water contains suspended clay, organic matter, or high levels of calcium, magnesium, or bicarbonate ions.
  • Avoid using galvanized steel or unlined steel containers; use stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, or plastic containers.
  • Thoroughly rinse spray tanks and equipment with clean water after application.

TANK MIXTURES:

ACP Blue Chip 540 Herbicide can be tank-mixed with various herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants. Follow all label directions, restraints, plantback periods, and safety guidelines for tank-mix products.

APPLICATION:

Boom Equipment:

  • Optimal performance is achieved with a spray volume of 80L/ha or less.
  • Use nozzles and pressure settings for MEDIUM or MEDIUM-COARSE droplets.
  • Avoid VERY FINE or FINE droplets to prevent loss or drift.

Wiper Equipment:

  • Suitable for applications using wiper equipment like Ropewick, canvas, felt, or carpet applicators.
  • Operate wiper equipment a minimum of 10 cm above the crop or pasture.
  • Weeds should be at least 15 cm above the crop or pasture during application.

Aerial Equipment:

  • Apply by aircraft for weed control in forests, cropland, or pasture.
  • Follow recommended settings and droplet diameters to avoid drift.
  • Thoroughly wash aircraft after each day of spraying.

AVOID DRIFT:

  • Do not apply treatments in conditions likely to cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible crops or pastures.
  • Avoid application under very light winds, inversion conditions, or wind speeds exceeding 12 km/h.
