GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Imtrade Bolta Duo Herbicide is a short residual, soil-applied, pre-emergent herbicide. It is absorbed by the roots and mesocotyl of germinating seedlings, inhibiting growth in the meristematic region. Foliar uptake is possible but less effective. Upstream translocation occurs, but movement in the phloem is unlikely. Best results come from applying before or shortly after weed germination.

Imtrade Bolta Duo Herbicide should be applied to a moist, smooth seedbed free of soil clods and emerged weeds. Efficacy may decrease due to improper incorporation, high crop/trash residues, or in areas of high weed seed density. Shallow seeding and accurate seed placement are crucial. Avoid water-repellent soils or areas prone to waterlogging.

Crop Tolerance

Imtrade Bolta Duo Herbicide's selectivity in cereals is due to positional and physiological factors. Maintain positional selectivity by sowing at adequate depth. Cereals metabolize the herbicide faster than susceptible weed species. Factors like rainfall and soil type influence its movement into the seed zone.

INCORPORATION BY SOWING

Incorporation by Sowing (IBS) with knife or blade points is recommended. Maintain adequate working speed and avoid soil throw into adjacent seeding rows. Stubble coverage above 40-50% can reduce weed control.

CONDITIONS FOR BEST RESULTS

Thoroughly incorporate Imtrade Bolta Duo Herbicide. Ensure well-worked, weed-free soil. Loss may occur due to inadequate incorporation, high organic matter, or foreign matter. Components are volatile and dissipate faster in high temperatures or winds.

MIXING

Imtrade Bolta Duo Herbicide mixes readily with water. Follow proper mixing order and maintain agitation. Tank mix spray solutions should not be left standing overnight.

Application

Apply by ground rig only, using a minimum of 50L water/ha. Water rate selection depends on soil type and stubble load. Stubble loads above 40-50% ground coverage can reduce weed control. Use nozzles delivering medium to very coarse spray quality.

DO NOT apply by air.

Sprayer Clean Up

Thoroughly clean the tank and system after use. Rinse with clean water.

COMPATIBILITY

Imtrade Bolta Duo Herbicide can be mixed with specified herbicides and insecticides. Refer to plant back restrictions on tank mix partners.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT

Efforts should be made to prevent seed set of surviving weeds. Avoid multiple applications of Group D or Group J Herbicides in the same season. Consult local experts for Integrated Weed Management programs.
