GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

BOMBER 250 SL is an aqueous solution of herbicide effective against a range of standing weeds and emerging seedlings. It halts growth rapidly, although symptoms may take over 30 days to develop. The active material in BOMBER 250 SL is rapidly absorbed through foliage and roots, and it's translocated throughout plants. Foliage treatments provide pre-emergence control, releasing active material into the soil following plant decay. Residual control of weeds increases with the higher rate of BOMBER 250 SL.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

Farmalinx BOMBER 250 SL Herbicide belongs to the imidazolinone group of herbicides, with the inhibition of acetolactate synthase (ALS) mode of action, categorized as a Group B herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to BOMBER 250 SL and other Group B herbicides may exist. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by BOMBER 250 SL or other Group B herbicides.

APPLICATION

For faster control, apply under favorable growing conditions. Rainfall within two hours of the spray mixture drying on leaves may reduce weed control.

SPRAYING INSTRUCTIONS

  • For medium volume spraying, apply through a calibrated spray boom for even coverage. Use suitable nozzles to prevent spray drift.

  • For high volume application, use a hand gun or knapsack to wet the surface visibly without producing run-off.

MIXING

Pour the required amount of BOMBER 250 SL into a spray container already holding the total water required. Mix thoroughly. Use stainless steel, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers due to the product's corrosive nature to mild steel.

COMPATIBILITY

Certain herbicides can be mixed with BOMBER 250 SL for faster weed knockdown, but bipyridyl herbicides like paraquat are not compatible and will result in poor weed control if mixed.

PROTECTION MEASURES

  • Do not apply under weather conditions or from equipment causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops or non-target areas.

  • Avoid application near desirable trees or plants, their roots, or areas where the chemical may reach them.

  • Dispose of washings away from desirable plants and roots.

  • BOMBER 250 SL poses low hazard to bees but should not be used on plants intended for stock feed.

  • Do not contaminate waterways with the chemical or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from children. Triple rinse containers before disposal and follow local waste management regulations for disposal of empty packaging. Do not burn empty containers or product.
