GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Before Use: Before opening, carefully read Directions for Use, Precautionary and Protection Statements, Storage and Disposal, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions.

MIXING: To ensure even mixing:

  1. Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
  2. Add the required amount of this product.
  3. Agitate thoroughly.
  4. Add the remainder of water.
  5. Agitate again before spraying.

APPLICATION:

  • Do Not Use Certain Nozzles: Avoid using rain-drop or air-induction nozzles, as they may not provide adequate coverage of weeds.
  • Boom Sprayer: Calibrate the machine before use to ensure correct application rate. Check the boom height to ensure even distribution.
    • Cereals: Apply 50 to 200 liters of water per hectare. Use a minimum of 160 liters, preferably 200 liters, especially for heavy weed infestations or dense crop cover.
    • Linseed: Apply a minimum of 220 liters of water per hectare.
    • Turf: Apply a minimum of 500 liters of water per hectare.
  • Aerial Application: Apply a minimum of 22 liters of water per hectare or 30 liters if tank-mixing with diclofop-methyl herbicide. Ensure markers move upwind before the aircraft passes overhead.
    • Use at least 20 liters of total spray volume for specific crops.
    • For spring/early summer applications, use 30 to 35 liters of total spray volume.
    • Ultra Low Volume (ULV) application by aircraft should be during cooler parts of the day or at night. Avoid application in calm or very windy conditions.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: After use, wash application equipment thoroughly with equipment cleaner and rinse with clean water several times.

COMPATIBILITY: This product is physically compatible with specific herbicides or insecticides in wheat and barley only. These include metsulfuron-methyl, dicamba, tralkoxydim, diclofop-methyl, MCPA, dimethoate, clorpyrifos, and omethoate. However, certain precautions and limitations apply, and testing mixtures prior to commercial quantities is recommended.

RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • This product is a Group 6 and Group 4 Herbicide.
  • Weed resistance may occur with repeated use. Some weed biotypes may become resistant, leading to reduced efficacy. Resistant weeds won't be controlled by this product or other Group 6 and Group 4 herbicides.
  • Agoceania Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of this product to control resistant weeds.

Precautions:

Protections:

  • Protection of Crops, Native, and Other Non-Target Plants: Avoid application under weather conditions or from spraying equipment that may cause drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops. Do not mist.
  • Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment: Dangerous to fish. Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or watercourses.
  • Protection of Livestock: Some sprayed weeds may become more palatable to stock, resulting in potential poisoning. Exercise caution, especially with capeweed, Paterson’s curse, and variegated thistles. Avoid grazing with young or breeding stock. Do not graze horses or pigs on Paterson’s curse and variegated thistles.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in a closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Triple-rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Recycle or deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility. If no facility is available, bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a marked disposal pit compliant with local regulations. Do not burn empty containers or product.
  • For refillable containers, store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Empty contents fully into application equipment. Close all valves and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
