GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Stress Conditions

Moisture stress, caused by drought, high temperatures, low humidity, or prior use of pre-emergence herbicides, can impact efficacy. Ensure irrigation or effective rainfall occurs immediately before or after spraying under these conditions. Avoid spraying under stress conditions like frost, waterlogging, extended cold, or when evident just prior to application.

Mixing

Add the required amount of TITAN BUTROXYDIM 250 WG HERBICIDE directly to the spray tank, which should be 50% full with clean water. After dispersion, complete filling the tank. Agitation must be continuous during mixing and spraying. Resuspend settled contents if agitation ceases. Ensure all in-line strainer and nozzle screens are 100 mesh or coarser. Add any other product next. An oil adjuvant is essential and should be added last to the spray tank.

Application

  • Time of Application: For maximum benefits, spray young, actively growing weeds. Use lower rates for grasses with up to 4 leaves and higher rates for weeds up to mid-tillering.

  • Method of Application:

    • Ground Application: Ensure even distribution and double overlap pattern. Use a MEDIUM to COARSE spray droplet size for maximum efficacy and minimal drift. Water volumes per hectare should range from 50-100L/ha. 100⁰ flat fan nozzles are preferred.

    • Aerial Application: Apply through boom or Micronair units in 20-30L of water per hectare. Use MEDIUM to COARSE spray quality. Swath width should not exceed recommendations.

Sprayer Cleanup or Decontamination

Before spraying sensitive crops, thoroughly remove all traces of SU herbicides from mixing and spray equipment immediately after use.

Crop Safety

Progression of Canola plants varies depending on environmental conditions. To determine growth stages, refer to BBCH growth guides. Avoid spraying when crops are stressed.

Compatibility

  • Avoid water with high bicarbonate levels (>50 ppm) as it reduces efficacy. Add TITAN SPRAY GRADE AMMONIUM SULPHATE HERBICIDE ADJUVANT to mitigate this issue.

  • Refer to specific guidelines for partner products. Always use maximum rates and ensure weed growth stages align with the label.

Compatible Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, and Trace Elements

Refer to the label for compatible products. Avoid tank mixing with incompatible products without conducting a jar test. Physical compatibility does not guarantee biological compatibility. Consult a Titan Ag representative before tank mixing with other products or trace elements.
