General Instructions:

  • Resistant Weeds Warning:

    • Sinochem CADIM 400 WG Herbicide belongs to the cyclohexanediones group of herbicides and acts as an inhibitor of acetyl coA carboxylase. It is classified as a Group A herbicide for weed resistance management.

    • Resistance to Sinochem CADIM 400 WG Herbicide and similar herbicides can occur naturally in weed populations. Resistant weeds may not be controlled by these herbicides, leading to reduced efficacy and potential yield loss.

  • Mixing:

    • Use sprayers in good condition with high capacity agitation.

    • Clean the sprayer according to label instructions before using Sinochem CADIM 400 WG Herbicide.

    • Use only clean water for the spray solution and ensure all in-line strainers and nozzle screens are 100 mesh or coarser.

    • Begin filling the spray tank with water and engage agitation. Agitation must continue throughout mixing and spraying.

    • Slowly add Sinochem CADIM 400 WG Herbicide granules to the half-full spray tank, ensuring complete dispersion.

    • Do not premix Sinochem CADIM 400 WG Herbicide.

    • Add all required herbicide from all cartons first before adding other herbicides or adjuvants.

    • Wait at least one minute after adding the herbicide before adding other tank-mixed products.

    • Slowly add Supercharge adjuvant to the tank last, in at least 10 times its volume of water.

    • Continue filling the tank to the desired level with water.

  • Spraying Instructions:

    • Ground Equipment:

      • Apply in a spray volume of 50-150 litres of water per hectare at a pressure of 250-350 kPa.

      • Use flat fan nozzles such as Spraying Systems 110-01, 110-015, 110-02, or equivalent sizes. Do not use larger nozzles.

      • Nozzles may be angled forward 45 degrees for better crop penetration and coverage.

      • Ensure agitation continues until spraying is completed, even if stopped briefly. Resuspend settled particles if agitation is stopped for more than 5 minutes.

      • Sprayed mixtures may be left overnight without loss of efficacy if fully resuspended before reuse.

    • Aerial Equipment:

      • Apply through boom or Micronair in 20-30 litres of water per hectare, preferably using the higher volume for more reliable results.

      • Droplet size should be 200-250 microns (VMD), and swath width should not exceed recommendations for the type of plane and application unit.

  • Crop Safety:

    • Application to stressed crops or crops with less than 2 true leaves may cause yellowing or growth retardation, but crops typically recover without yield loss. Avoid double spraying.

  • Plantback Periods:

    • Do not plant sorghum, maize, or rice for four weeks after application.

    • Allow at least 10 days between application and any other herbicide or fertilizer treatment, except for Metsulfuron-Methyl 600 WG, which requires a 14-day interval.
