GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING - GROUP A HERBICIDE:

  • AC Carbine 240 Herbicide belongs to the cyclohexanedione group with an acetyl coA carboxylase mode of action.
  • Group A Herbicide for weed resistance management.
  • Some weed biotypes may be naturally resistant to AC Carbine 240 Herbicide; repeated use may lead to dominance by resistant weeds.
  • Resistant weeds won't be controlled by AC Carbine 240 Herbicide.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • Follow recommended cleanout procedures before using AC Carbine 240 Herbicide, especially after spraying sulfonylurea herbicides.
  • After use, empty and drain the spray tank. Wash inside of the tank with a pressure hose using a household cleaning detergent.
  • Rinse system thoroughly with clean water; discharge rinse water into a designated disposal area away from desirable plants and water sources.

MIXING:

  • Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
  • Add the required amount of product and spray additive; agitate thoroughly.
  • Add the remainder of the water and agitate again before spraying commences.

APPLICATION:

  • Ground Application:

    • Apply with calibrated spray equipment producing droplets of 200 to 300 microns VMD.
    • Minimum of 50 L/ha, use 150 L/ha for dense populations.
  • Aerial Application:

    • Use aircraft with boom or Micronair equipment.
    • Recommended spray volume: 20 to 30 L/ha; adjust equipment for droplets of 200 to 250 microns VMD.
    • Best results in light crosswinds; avoid temperature inversions or very low humidity.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Compatible with certain grass herbicides (quizalofop-p-ethyl, fluazifop-p, haloxyfop, sethoxydim, propaquizafop).
  • Full label rate for AC Carbine 240 Herbicide in tank mixtures with other grass herbicides.
  • May be tank-mixed with Sumi-Alpha 50EC, Sumi-Alpha Dual, Alpha-Sip Duo Insecticide, and Le-Mat*.
  • Do not mix with diflufenican, Basagran*, or Blazer; apply separately.
  • Refer to Axichem Pty Limited for compatibility with other products.

CAUTION:

  • Conduct tests on a small number of plants before using on ornamentals and trees.
  • Do not use on Gymnosperms without prior safety testing.
  • Avoid drift onto susceptible crops/plants, cropping lands, or pastures.
  • Take precautions to prevent damage to native grasses or grass crops.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the product or used containers.
