OZCROP CARFENTRAZONE 240 EC HERBICIDE

Product Overview: OZCROP CARFENTRAZONE 240 EC Herbicide is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation to be mixed with water and applied as per the labeled Directions for Use. It is a post-emergence herbicide added to knockdown herbicides to improve control of certain broadleaf weeds, including marshmallow, in various agricultural and non-agricultural settings.

Application Areas: Suitable for use prior to the establishment of fallows, winter and summer broadacre and horticultural crops, in grass pastures, commercial, industrial, and public service areas, around agricultural buildings, yards, and other farm situations, or in tree fruits, nuts, and grapevines. Can be used alone with a suitable adjuvant for controlling volunteer cotton seedlings, including Roundup Ready cotton, and for desiccation of regrowth in cotton.

Mode of Action: Fast-acting contact herbicide that aids in weed control through a process of membrane disruption. Rapid foliar uptake, with plant desiccation occurring within 4 days of application. Best results achieved on small, actively growing weeds.

Symptoms: Susceptible weeds show signs of desiccation within a few hours, followed by necrosis and death in subsequent days.

Compatibility: Should always be tank-mixed with knockdown herbicides such as glyphosate, paraquat, and/or glufosinate. Compatible with partner herbicides commonly used with knockdown herbicides, including atrazine, Boxer Gold, clopyralid, dicamba, metribuzin, Outlook, pendimethalin, Sakura, simazine, triasulfuron, triclopyr, and trifluralin. Compatible with nonionic surfactants (wetting agents) and oil adjuvants. Can be mixed with insecticides alpha-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, omethoate, and phosmet.

Timing: Apply to small, actively growing weeds less than 6 to 8 leaves. Best control achieved when weeds are exposed and not shielded by other vegetation or stubble.

Mixing: Add half the required volume of water to the spray tank and start agitation. Add partner herbicides, followed by the measured amount of OZCROP CARFENTRAZONE 240 EC HERBICIDE and knockdown herbicide. Maintain good agitation until spraying is completed; do not store the spray mixture overnight.

Application: Apply using ground sprayers with suitable nozzles and spray volume. For cotton desiccation, aerial application is allowed. Proper sprayer clean-out is crucial after the use of OZCROP CARFENTRAZONE 240 EC HERBICIDE to prevent residues.

Sprayer Clean Out: Thoroughly clean spray equipment using an alkaline detergent after each use. Do not store the sprayer for an extended period with OZCROP CARFENTRAZONE 240 EC HERBICIDE solution remaining. Follow detailed cleaning procedures outlined in the instructions.
