GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING: Choice Cure 430 Fungicide belongs to the DMI group of fungicides and is classified as a Group 3 Fungicide for fungicide resistance management. There is a risk of naturally occurring fungi developing resistance to Choice Cure 430 Fungicide and other Group 3 fungicides due to genetic variability. Continuous use may lead to resistant fungi dominating the population, resulting in reduced efficacy and potential yield loss.
Grow Choice Pty Ltd holds no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Choice Cure 430 Fungicide to control resistant fungi.
RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS – PEANUTS: For peanuts, apply no more than 3 consecutive sprays of DMI fungicides (e.g., tebuconazole) before switching to a non-DMI fungicide. Limit DMI sprays to no more than 5 per season.
SPECIAL WARNING – BANANAS: In conditions where recently emerged fruit is susceptible to marking damage, especially in hot conditions with strong direct light, it is recommended to bag all emerged bunches before spraying to minimize the risk of fruit marking.
Avoid using adjuvants other than water miscible oils with Choice Cure 430 Fungicide, as wetting agents may cause phototoxicity to young fruit.
FOLIAR DISEASES ON CEREAL CROPS:
- Do not apply to cereal crops more than once in a season.
- Treatment provides approximately three weeks of disease suppression.
- Economic response may not be gained by spraying crops past the flowering stage.
- Effects of fungicide application become apparent 7-10 days after application.
- Economic responses are more likely with crops having a potential yield over 3 t/ha.
Spray Timings for Stripe Rust Control: Refer to the Department of Agriculture for classification of resistant and susceptible varieties. A suggested spray program is provided based on infection levels in different varieties.
MIXING: Shake the container vigorously before pouring. Add the required amount of Choice Cure 430 Fungicide to water in the spray vat while stirring. For peanuts or beans, add Agridex; for bananas, use water miscible oil. Mix thoroughly.
APPLICATION: Aircraft should fly as low as possible under prevailing conditions to minimize drift.
PRECAUTIONS:
- Re-Entry Period: Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing when entry is necessary.
- Protect wildlife, fish, crustaceans, and the environment. Avoid contamination of waterways.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- Rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- Follow approved waste management practices for empty packaging.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
- Harmful if swallowed; irritates eyes and skin.
- Wear protective clothing during handling and application.
- Wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly after use.
