GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Rygel ClearUp 450 K Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide effective against many annual and perennial weeds and broadleaf weeds in various applications. It is inactivated on contact with the soil and does not provide residual weed control.

  • Absorption and Movement: The herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems, moving through the plant from the point of contact to the root system.

  • Visible Effects: Takes 3 to 7 days on annual weeds, and 2 to 3 weeks or longer on perennial weeds, depending on weather conditions following spraying.

  • Withholding Period: No withholding period is required; however, grazing should be delayed at least one day after treatment of annual weeds or 7 days for perennial weeds.

  • Resistant Weed Warning: Belongs to the Glycines group of herbicides with the EPSP synthase mode of action, making it a Group M herbicide. Resistant weed biotypes may exist, and repeated use can lead to control failures.

Crop Establishment: Recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Suitable cultivation and/or sowing operations are needed to provide satisfactory seedbed conditions. Adjust sowing timing based on weed growth.

MIXING:

  1. Clean spray tank and ensure it is free from residues.
  2. Fill the tank with half the required amount of clean water and start agitation.
  3. Add Rygel ClearUp 450 K Herbicide and mix well before adding the remaining water.
  4. Add surfactant last to minimize foaming.
  5. Use clean water for spray solutions, as water containing calcium salts could inactivate glyphosate.
  6. Use stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers or spray tanks to mix, store, and apply. Do not use galvanized steel or unlined steel.

TANK MIXTURES: When tank-mixing with other products, follow all label directions for the tank mix products.

  • Compatible with certain insecticides such as chlorpyrifos, dimethoate, fenitrothion, Imidan, and omethoate. Others not tested.
  • Tank mix options with Atrazine, Simazine, Dicamba, 2,4-D, Chlorsulfuron, Metsulfuron, Oxyfluorfen are specified. Use of ammonium sulfate is recommended in some cases.

GENERAL SPRAYING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Do not spray if rain is likely within 6 hours.
  • Do not add extra surfactant or mix with other agricultural chemicals unless directed on the label.

APPLICATION:

  • Boom Equipment: Spray volume of 25 to 100L with fan nozzles at 240-280 kPa. Boom height must ensure double overlap of nozzle patterns at the top of the weed canopy.
  • Knapsack and Handgun Equipment: Adjust for a fine spray pattern, ensuring complete and uniform wetting of foliage. Avoid spraying in conditions conducive to drift.
  • Aerial Application: For pasture or fallow situations. Maximum limit of 3.2L/ha. Droplets of 250-350 microns recommended. Specific instructions for Micronair and boom equipment.

AVOID DRIFT:

  • Do not apply under light winds, inversion conditions, or where wind speed exceeds 12 km/hr.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Do not contaminate dams, rivers, or streams with the product or used containers.
  • Avoid spraying over open bodies of water.
  • Prevent spills and contamination. Do not reuse containers.

PROTECTION OF CROP, NATIVE, AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:

  • Avoid contact with desirable plants, as it may cause severe damage or destruction.
