GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

CLEARVIEW 200 GR may be applied at any time of the year, with treatments becoming effective after sufficient rainfall has moved the chemical into the root zone, where it is absorbed by woody plants. Optimal applications are just prior to seasonal rainfall for the most rapid response. Herbicidal activity will persist for several seasons after application, causing repeated defoliations and regrowths in woody plants until death occurs. A single application is usually effective for several years.

Forage grass production tends to increase as competition from woody weeds diminishes. However, increased grass production is contingent on adequate rainfall and an appropriate grazing management program. After treatment, it is crucial to allow grasses to seed and seedlings to become established before increasing grazing pressure. Areas treated with CLEARVIEW 200 GR can be overseeded with suitable pasture species, and consultation with an agricultural specialist is recommended for details on suitable seeding rates, timing, and fertiliser application programs.

The residual action of CLEARVIEW 200 GR may be impaired if fire occurs before clay pellets are dissolved, and the chemical has moved into the root zone.

HAND APPLICATION

It is recommended to use gloves during hand application. Apply CLEARVIEW 200 GR by uniformly distributing it by hand over the desired area, following the recommended quantity of pellets. Calibration can be done by weighing a normal handful of pellets, with the rate typically ranging from 0.5 to 1 g/m².

When applying pellets, distribute them under the tree or regrowth canopy from the root crown or stems to 30 cm beyond the drip zone of the plants to be controlled. The time required for complete plant death depends on various factors, including soil type, amount of rainfall, root depth, plant species, plant density, and the rate of CLEARVIEW 200 GR used.

DISPENSER PACK

Apply CLEARVIEW 200 GR by uniformly distributing it by hand after dispensing a single dose (7 g) from the dispenser unit. Apply the pellets at 1 to 2 g per square meter. One dose (7 g) will treat 7 to 3.5 square meters at these rates.

TREATING INDIVIDUAL TREES BY HAND

Estimate the area within 30 cm beyond the drip zone and treat it as evenly as possible, spreading pellets from the tree trunk to slightly beyond the drip line formed by the branches. Avoid throwing all the pellets at the base of the tree trunk to prevent waste and ensure effective control.

AERIAL AND GROUND APPLICATION

Aerial application of CLEARVIEW 200 GR can be carried out by accredited fixed-wing aircraft or helicopters fitted with specially designed application apparatus. Ground applications can be carried out by accredited operators using precision low application rate spreaders.

CLEANING APPLICATION EQUIPMENT

Thoroughly clean all traces of CLEARVIEW 200 GR from application equipment holding pellets, such as buckets, measuring cylinders, and gloves, after use. Residues cleaned from this application equipment should not be emptied in areas where they will contact the roots of desirable trees, shrubs, or plants.
