GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Clomac Herbicide

MIXING: Maintain agitation at all times, including during mixing and spraying.

  1. Spray Rigs that Topfill: For rigs filling through hoses, quarter-fill the tank, add Clomac, then continue filling.
  2. Spray Rigs with Premix Hoppers: Three-quarter fill the hopper with water, add Clomac, dissolve, and transfer to the main tank.
  3. Limited Bypass Agitation: Pre-dissolve Clomac in a bucket before adding to the main tank.
  4. Tank Mixes: Follow the specified order for effective mixing.

COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with various herbicides, including broadleaf and grass herbicides, and oils/wetters (Uptake*, Ulvapron*, Pulse*).

APPLICATION: Boom Spraying Plantation Trees, Industrial/Commercial Situations, Crops, and Pastures: Apply with calibrated ground rig or aircraft. Deliver 200 to 300 micron droplets, not less than 50 L/ha for boom sprayers, or not less than 20 L/ha for aerial applications. Do not apply by aircraft in industrial/commercial situations. Specific spray volumes for hardhead thistle and silver wattle.

High Volume Hand Gun: Use the recommended mix for full coverage. Spray volume for dense 2 m high silver wattle: 30 to 40 L of spray per 100 m².

Stem Injection: Make a stem injection pocket at waist height using a ¾ length axe. Apply chemical immediately after making the injection pocket using a calibrated Phillips 5 mL vaccinator. Ensure chemical does not run out of the sides of the cut for effective control.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT: Rinse water should be discharged to a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and watercourses.

PARTIAL CLEANING (Before spraying other labeled or tolerant crops):

  1. Empty the tank and drain the system.
  2. Wash inside the tank using a pressure hose.
  3. Quarter-fill the tank with clean water, circulate through the pump, lines, hoses, and nozzles. Drain and repeat the procedure twice.

COMPLETE CLEANING (Before spraying susceptible crops):

  1. Empty the tank and drain the system.
  2. Wash inside the tank using a pressure hose.
  3. Quarter-fill the tank with clean water and circulate.
  4. Quarter-fill again and add an alkali detergent, circulate for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Drain, remove filters and nozzles, clean separately.
  6. Rinse inside the tank thoroughly with a pressure hose and flush the system with clean water.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING: Clomac Herbicide is a Group I herbicide with the disruptors of plant cell growth mode of action. Resistance may occur in weed biotypes due to genetic variability.
