GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

MIXING

Half-fill the spray tank with water and add the required quantity of FARMALINX Clop 300 SL Herbicide before completing filling. Continuous agitation is essential to ensure thorough mixing before and during application. Only mix sufficient chemical for each day's work. When tank mixing, wettable powder or dry flowable formulations should be added to the spray tank first, followed by suspension concentrates (flowables), aqueous concentrates (FARMALINX Clop 300 Herbicide), and emulsifiable concentrate formulations.

COMPATIBILITY

FARMALINX Clop 300 Herbicide is compatible with various herbicides, including broadleaf and grass herbicides in both cereal and broadleaf crops. The compatibility list includes specific products such as Comet, Associate/Brushkiller, Bromicide, Lusta, Diuron, Glyphosate CT, Roundup, Weedmaster Duo, FARMALINX MCPA 500, LVE MCPA, Diquat, terbutryn, FARMALINX 2,4-D 625, Simazine, Striker, Mako, Nugrass, Grasp, Puma, and Verdict, among others.

APPLICATION

Boom Spraying Crops and Pastures:

  • Apply in sufficient water to obtain good coverage.
  • Use an accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft.

Boom Spraying Plantation Trees:

  • Apply in sufficient water to obtain good coverage.
  • Use an accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft.
  • Deliver 200 to 300 micron droplets, not less than 50 L/ha for boom sprayers, or not less than 20 L/ha for aerial applications.

High Volume Hand Gun:

  • Apply the recommended mix for full coverage of leaves and stems through a No. 6-8 tip at 700 to 1500 kPa.
  • Spray volume for effective coverage should be 30 to 40 liters of spray per 100 m² for dense two-meter-high silver wattle.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT

Rinse water should be discharged into a designated disposal area or, if unavailable, onto unused land away from desirable plants and water courses. Cleaning procedures include both partial cleaning before spraying other labeled or tolerant crops and complete cleaning before spraying susceptible crops.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

FARMALINX Clop 300 Herbicide is a member of the Pyridine group and has a disruptor of plant cell growth mode of action. It belongs to Group I herbicides, and for weed resistance management, strategies to minimize the risk of herbicide resistance are available. Farmers are encouraged to consult with their chemical supplier, consultant, local Department of Agriculture, or local FARMALINX Representative for guidance.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE, AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS

  • DO NOT apply under weather conditions or from spraying equipment that may cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands, or pastures.
  • DO NOT apply to crops or pastures that will be used for the production of compost or mulches or mushroom substrate. Such compost or mulch made from plant material treated with FARMALINX Clop 300 Herbicide may cause damage to susceptible crops and plants.
  • Susceptible crops and plants include, but are not limited to chickpeas, clover, cotton, faba beans, field peas, fruit trees, lentils, lupins, lucerne, medics, ornamentals, potatoes, safflower, tomatoes, vegetables, grape and kiwifruit vines, vetches, and wattles. Field peas, faba beans, lentils, and vetches are particularly susceptible and should not be sown the season following an application of FARMALINX Clop 300 Herbicide at 500 mL/ha.
