GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
MIXING:
- Measure the required quantity of FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG granules by weighing on scales.
- The granules are highly soluble in water and dissolve rapidly in fast-moving water.
- Maintain agitation at all times, including during mixing and spraying.
- For spray rigs with premix hoppers, use the provided procedure for drop-down chemical induction hoppers. Rinse the hopper until the entire product has washed through.
- For spray rigs with limited bypass agitation, pre-dissolve the granules in a bucket before adding them to the main tank. Add while stirring until dissolved.
- Only mix sufficient spray solution for immediate use and avoid storing.
TANK-MIXES (Follow this order):
- Quarter fill the spray tank with agitation.
- Add FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG granules following the mixing procedure.
- Add Haloxyfop (520 g/L) if included in the tank-mix.
- Add water to half-fill the spray tank.
- Add wettable powders, water-dispersible granules, or suspension concentrates.
- Add other emulsifiable concentrates, including other selective grass herbicides.
- If Uptake Spraying Oil* is to be used, add it when the spray tank is half full.
- Add other adjuvants or wetting agents according to their labels.
- Add water to reach the final spray volume.
COMPATIBILITY:
- Conventional Canola: FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG + Haloxyfop (520 g/L) + Uptake Spraying Oil are compatible and selective.
- Triazine Tolerant Canola: Atrazine + FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG + Haloxyfop (520 g/L) + Uptake Spraying Oil are compatible and selective.
- Clearfield Canola: OnDuty* + FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG are compatible and selective.
- Compatible with: Various broadleaf herbicides, grass herbicides in cereal and broadleaf crops, adjuvants like Uptake Spraying Oil, WetDrop Wetter, etc.
APPLICATION:
Boom Spraying Crop and Pastures:
- Apply FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG in sufficient water for good coverage.
- Use an accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft.
- Deliver MEDIUM to COARSE droplets, not less than 50 L/ha water volume for boom sprayers, or not less than 20 L/ha for aerial applications.
- For Hardhead Thistle, use a spray volume of 200 to 250 L/ha of water.
High Volume Hand Gun:
- Apply the recommended mix for full coverage through a No. 6-8 tip at 700 to 1500kPa.
- Spray volume for effective coverage of dense pasture weeds should be 10 to 15 litres of spray per 100 m² (10 m x 10 m) of infestation. For larger areas, an equivalent would be 1000 to 1500 litres per infested hectare.
Stem Injection:
- Make a stem injection pocket at waist height using a 3/4 length axe.
- Chemical must be applied immediately after making the injection pocket.
- Apply chemical with a Phillips 5 mL vaccinator fitted with a tree injector kit.
- Set vaccinator to deliver 1 mL of the diluted mix.
CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:
- Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and watercourses.
PARTIAL CLEANING (before spraying other labeled or tolerant crops):
- After using FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG, empty the tank and drain the system.
- Wash inside the tank using a pressure hose.
- Quarter fill the tank with clean water and circulate through the pump, line, hoses, and nozzles. Drain and repeat procedure twice.
COMPLETE CLEANING (before spraying susceptible crops):
- After using FARMALINX CLOP 750 SG, empty the tank and drain the system.
- Wash inside the tank using a pressure hose.
- Quarter fill the tank with clean water and circulate as above, then drain.
- Quarter fill the tank again and add an alkali detergent (e.g., Surf, Omo, Drive) at 500 mL/100 L water or 500 g/100 L water. Circulate throughout the system for at least fifteen minutes.
- Drain, remove filters and nozzles, and clean separately.
- Rinse inside the tank thoroughly using a pressure hose and flush the system with clean water.
- Chlorine-based cleansers are NOT recommended.
- Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and water sources.
