General Instructions for Genfarm Clopyralid 600 Herbicide:

Mixing: Follow the specified order for tank-mixing:

  1. Quarter fill the spray tank with continuous agitation.
  2. Add wettable powders or dry flowable formulations with continuous agitation, ensuring complete dissolution.
  3. Add Genfarm Clopyralid 600.
  4. Add water to half-fill the spray tank.
  5. Add other suspension concentrates, aqueous concentrates, or emulsifiable concentrates, including selective grass or broadleaf herbicides.
  6. Add Uptake Spraying Oil or BS1000 when the tank is three-quarters full.
  7. Add other adjuvants or wetting agents according to their label.
  8. Add water to reach the final spray volume. Mix only sufficient spray solution for immediate use and avoid storing.

Compatibility:

  • Conventional Canola: Genfarm Clopyralid 600 + Genfarm Haloxyfop 520 + Uptake Spraying Oil are compatible and selective.
  • Triazine Tolerant Canola: Atrazine + Genfarm Clopyralid 600 + Genfarm Haloxyfop 520 + Uptake Spraying Oil are compatible and selective.
  • Clearfield Canola: Intervix + Genfarm Clopyralid 600 are compatible and selective.
  • Genfarm Clopyralid 600 is compatible with various broadleaf herbicides, grass herbicides on broadleaf crops, and adjuvants.

Aerial Application:

  • Apply in a minimum of 20 L water/ha using a COARSE spray through calibrated equipment.
  • Use narrow-angle flat fan nozzles with a spray angle less than or equal to 40° and oriented straight back to the light direction.
  • For fixed-wing aircraft, use nozzles with a pressure greater than or equal to 4 bar.
  • For helicopter applications requiring a COARSE or VERY COARSE spray droplet size, use nozzles as specified for fixed-wing aircraft.

Motorized High Volume Handgun:

  • Apply the recommended mix for full coverage of leaves and stems through a No. 6-8 tip at 700 to 1500 kPa.
  • Spray volume for effective coverage should be 30 to 40 liters per 100 m² for dense infestations.

Cleaning Spray Equipment:

  • Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and water courses.
  • Partial cleaning before spraying other labeled or tolerant crops: Rinse and circulate clean water through the system.
  • Complete cleaning before spraying susceptible crops: Rinse, clean with a liquid alkali detergent, drain, and flush with clean water. Clean filters and nozzles separately.

Resistant Weeds Warning (Group 1 Herbicide):

  • Genfarm Clopyralid 600 belongs to the pyridines group of herbicides (Group 1).
  • Weed resistance management strategies are essential to minimize the risk of herbicide resistance.
  • Consult local agricultural authorities for guidance.

Protection of Crops, Native, and Non-Target Plants:

  • Avoid application under weather conditions that may cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.
  • Avoid applying to crops or pastures used for compost or mulch production, as residues may damage susceptible crops and plants.
  • Implement proper stubble management to reduce the risk of residue carryover.

Planting Crops Following Use of Genfarm Clopyralid 600:

  • Avoid planting crops 'dry' without significant rain in the 'autumn break' to minimize the risk of injury to susceptible crops.
  • Consider the stubble load, non-wetting soils, and rainfall conditions before planting susceptible crops.
