DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Weed Size and Growing Conditions: It is essential to select a rate appropriate to weed size. Best results will be obtained when weeds are actively growing at treatment.

Restraints:

  • DO NOT apply to stressed weeds (not actively growing) due to extreme heat or cold, moisture stress, or previous herbicide treatment.
  • DO NOT sow susceptible crops in certain regions for specified periods after application.
  • DO NOT apply by air or mister within a Chemical Control Area in Victoria without a valid permit.
  • DO NOT spray if rain is likely within 3 hours.
  • DO NOT apply later than the eight-leaf stage of canola or the 1st node stage of winter cereals.
  • DO NOT apply immediately prior to sowing susceptible crops or pastures with specific components.

Mixing: Measure the required quantity of granules by weighing on scales. Maintain agitation at all times, including during mixing and spraying. For spray rigs with premix hoppers or limited bypass agitation, follow specific procedures outlined.

Tank-mixes: Follow the specified order for adding tank mix products:

  1. Quarter fill the spray tank maintaining agitation.
  2. Add eChem Clopyralid 750 Herbicide granules, using the mixing procedure.
  3. Add Haloxyfop 520 if it is to be used in the tank-mix.
  4. Add water to half fill the spray tank.
  5. Add wettable powders, water dispersible granules, or suspension concentrates.
  6. Add other emulsifiable concentrates, including other selective grass herbicides.
  7. Add Uptake* Spraying Oil if used when the spray tank is half full.
  8. Add other adjuvants or wetting agents according to their label.
  9. Add water to bring to the final spray volume.

Compatibility: eChem Clopyralid 750 Herbicide is compatible with various broadleaf and grass herbicides, as well as adjuvants. Refer to the list for specific details.

Application:

Boom Spraying Crop and Pastures: Apply in sufficient water to obtain good coverage. Use an accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft delivering 200 to 300 micron droplets. Maintain water volume not less than 50 L/ha for boom sprayers and not less than 20 L/ha for aerial applications. Adjust spray volume for specific weed types such as Hardhead Thistle.

High Volume Hand Gun: Apply the recommended mix for full coverage through a No. 6 - 8 tip at 700 to 1500 kPa. Adjust spray volume for effective coverage of dense pasture weeds.

Stem Injection: Create a stem injection pocket at waist height. Use a 3/4 length axe with a blade width of 5 to 7 cm. Apply the chemical immediately after making the injection pocket. Use a Phillips 5 mL vaccinator fitted with a tree injector kit, calibrated to deliver 1 mL of the diluted mix.

Cleaning Spray Equipment:

Partial Cleaning: Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and water courses. Follow the specified partial cleaning procedure.

Complete Cleaning: Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and water courses. Follow the specified complete cleaning procedure before spraying susceptible crops.

Safety Directions: Harmful if swallowed. Will irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid inhaling spray mist. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Follow safety precautions when handling and using the product.
