GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Nufarm Collide 700 can be used where the addition of a wetter/spreader or self-emulsifying oil is required or recommended on the agricultural chemical label.
Penetration and Wetter
Nufarm Collide 700 is a multipurpose adjuvant composed of natural surfactants and penetrants derived from soybean oils. Combined with propionic acid, it serves as a penetrant, surfactant, and acidifier for use with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, foliar fertilizers, and plant growth regulators. The unique properties of Nufarm Collide 700 enhance the uptake of many systemic herbicides, allowing effective penetration into leaves without causing damage to non-target crop plants.
Acidification
Nufarm Collide 700 also acts as an acidifier, reducing pH to between 4 and 5 in most cases. This reduces losses due to alkaline hydrolysis and assists with the uptake of weak acid herbicides.
Droplet Size Management
Nufarm Collide 700 reduces the number of fine droplets (<150 microns) produced by flat fan nozzles without increasing the number of large spray droplets (>400 microns). It decreases fine droplets associated with off-target movement of the pesticide, contingent upon good agricultural spraying practices and appropriate nozzle choice. DO NOT use in situations conducive to drift. Consult a Nufarm representative for further advice and stewardship.
Mixing
- Half fill the spray tank with water and commence agitation.
- Add the required quantity of Nufarm Collide 700.
- Add the recommended quantity of herbicide, insecticide, or foliar fertilizer.
- Continue agitation while topping up the tank and during spraying.
- DO NOT use with copper products.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
Non-Refillable Containers
- Triple-rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to the spray tank. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- If recycling, replace the cap and return clean containers to the recycler or designated collection point.
- If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
- If an approved waste management facility is not available, bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation, and tree roots, following relevant local, state, or territory government regulations.
- DO NOT burn empty containers or product.
110L Containers
- Store the original sealed container in a dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. DO NOT store below 5°C.
- Extended storage below 5°C can result in the formation of crystals on the bottom of the container. If crystallization occurs, store the container on its side at room temperature and rock occasionally until crystals re-dissolve. Ensure any crystals are dissolved before adding to the spray tank.
- DO NOT tamper with the Micro Matic valve or the security seal.
- DO NOT contaminate the container with water or any other foreign matter.
- After each use, disconnect the Micro Matic coupler, delivery system, and hoses, triple rinse with clean water, and drain accordingly.
- When the container is empty, return it to the point of purchase. The container remains the property of Nufarm Australia Limited.
Returnable Containers
- Empty contents fully into application equipment.
- Close all valves and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
