GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Imtrade Confront 800 WG Insecticide is a water dispersible granule formulation designed for effective application by ground or air equipment. It disperses readily in water but is sensitive to highly acidic or highly alkaline conditions, as well as strong acids, strong bases, and certain heavy metals and salts.
To enhance rainfastness, include a commercially available 'sticker' in the spray tank at the recommended rate before applying the product.
INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING
Imtrade Confront 800 WG Insecticide falls under Group 1A Insecticide. Resistant insect biotypes may exist due to normal genetic variability. Continuous use of Imtrade Confront 800 WG or other Group 1A Insecticides may lead to the dominance of resistant individuals. The effectiveness of Imtrade Confront 800 WG on resistant insects may be reduced. Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd does not accept liability for losses resulting from the failure to control resistant insects. Specific resistance management strategies may apply; contact your local supplier, Imtrade Australia representative, or agricultural department agronomist for further information.
Export of Treated Produce
For growers producing crops for export, note that suitable Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) or import tolerances may not be established in all markets for produce treated with Imtrade Confront 800 WG Insecticide. Check with Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd for the latest information on MRLs and import tolerances before using the product.
Mixing
Before mixing, remove oil, rust, scale, pesticide residues, and other foreign matter from the sprayer and strainer. Use a 50-mesh or slotted strainer in the spray system. Follow these steps:
- Fill the tank halfway with water.
- Add Imtrade Confront 800 WG Insecticide and mix thoroughly by mechanical or hydraulic action.
- Add water to the desired volume and mix again thoroughly.
APPLICATION
This product can be applied by air or ground equipment. Use a minimum prepared spray volume of 20L/ha by air (30L/ha for cotton, 50L/ha for Maize or Sweetcorn) and 50L/ha by ground. Achieve a droplet density of a minimum of 60 droplets per cm². Ensure some air movement, preferably blowing across the flight path. After use, drain and flush the sprayer with water.
COMPATIBILITY
Imtrade Confront 800 WG may be mixed with several products, including Dipel ES, Delfin WG, most foliar Bt formulations, Thiodan EC, Imtrade Methomyl 225 Insecticide, ChemAg Sentinel 800 Insecticide Spray, and most EC formulations of Profenofos, Chlorothalonil, and Dimethoate. Test mixtures before using commercial quantities.
