General Instructions

COSAVET-WG Fungicide/Miticide:

  • Acts as a protectant and should be applied before disease infection occurs. Good spray coverage is essential.

Rainfall:

  • Rain within 3 hours following treatment may reduce effectiveness. Consider re-treatment after sufficient rain.

Mixing:

  • Partially fill the spray vat and start vigorous agitation. Slowly add COSAVET-WG Fungicide/Miticide while continuing to fill the vat. Do not pre-mix. Maintain agitation at all times. Wettable powders must be premixed with water before being added to the vat. Complete addition and mixing of COSAVET-WG Fungicide/Miticide before adding emulsible concentrates (EC) or suspension concentrates (SC).

Compatibility:

  • COSAVET-WG Fungicide/Miticide may be tank-mixed with most other insecticides, fungicides, and foliar fertilizers. However, do not mix with spraying oil or any formulation containing mineral oil. Always check compatibility with intended use ratios before use.

Fungicide Resistance Warning:

  • COSAVET-WG Fungicide/Miticide belongs to Group M2 fungicides. Continuous use may lead to the development of resistant fungi, resulting in reduced efficacy and possible yield loss. Detection of resistant fungi before use is challenging, so the manufacturer accepts no liability for resulting losses.

Application in Tree and Vine Crops

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water, ensuring even coverage throughout the crop canopy. Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off. Adjust water volume and operation as the crop grows.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying, matching the water volume to the crop. Calculate the concentrate mixing rate based on the dilute spray volume. Adjust operation as the crop grows.

Protection of Crops:

  • Some fruits and plants may be susceptible to injury from sulphur under certain climatic conditions. Avoid spraying under hot dry conditions or extremes of humidity or temperature. Do not spray sulphur-sensitive plants. Reduce dosage during hot dry months.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

  • Prevent contamination of dams, ponds, waterways, or drains with the chemical or used containers.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Do not store near foodstuffs. Dispose of empty containers properly by puncturing or shredding and burying them in a landfill. Empty bags and product should not be burnt.
