GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Crusader GoDRI is a selective triazolopyrimidine sulfonanilide herbicide for post-emergence use in wheat. It is a foliar herbicide and may not reliably control weeds that emerge after treatment. Best results are achieved under good growing conditions, and treatment of stressed crops or weeds should be avoided.

Adjuvant: Always use BS1000 or Chemwet 1000 at 250 mL/100 L spray volume.

Crop Safety: Yield is typically unaffected by Crusader GoDRI, but transient stem shortening and crop yellowing may occur, particularly under certain conditions. Consult local resellers or Corteva Agriscience for information on crop variety selectivity.

CROP ROTATION RECOMMENDATIONS: Safe re-cropping periods apply for all crops following Crusader GoDRI application. Planting crops 'dry' without the minimum rainfall increases the risk of injury to susceptible crops.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING: Crusader GoDRI belongs to Group 2 herbicides. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Group 2 herbicides may exist. Always use integrated weed management programs with herbicides of other modes of action to prevent the build-up of resistant weeds.

Application: Apply in 80 – 100 L/ha water by ground boom.

APVMA compliance instructions for mandatory COARSE or larger droplet size categories:

  • Use only nozzles rated to deliver a COARSE, VERY COARSE, or EXTREMELY COARSE droplet size category.

  • Do not exceed the maximum spray system pressure specified by the nozzle manufacturer for the selected nozzle.

Mixing:

  • Measure the required amount of Crusader GoDRI granules accurately.

  • Add the granules to the spray tank with simultaneous agitation to ensure uniform dispersion.

  • Maintain agitation during mixing and application.

Tank mixing:

  1. Quarter fill the spray tank, maintain agitation.

  2. Add Crusader GoDRI granules and ensure full dispersion.

  3. Add water to half fill the tank.

  4. Add wettable powders, water dispersible granules, or suspension concentrates.

  5. Add emulsifiable concentrates.

  6. Add non-ionic surfactants or other adjuvants when the tank is half-full.

  7. Add water to the final spray volume.

Cleaning Spray Equipment:

  • After use, empty the tank completely and drain the system.

  • Thoroughly wash inside the tank, pump, line, hoses, and nozzles.

  • For partial cleaning, rinse with clean water before treating triticale or wheat.

  • For complete cleaning, decontaminate before treating susceptible crops.
