GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Imtrade Cyanazine 900 WG Herbicide is a water-dispersible granular herbicide effective against a range of broadleaf and grass seedlings as they emerge. It controls very young weeds (up to 3 cm) present at the time of application. The herbicide is absorbed through both root and foliar uptake. It has a relatively short persistence in the soil, making it unlikely to cause damage to susceptible crops in subsequent rotations. DO NOT apply to soils with high sand or gravel content, e.g., sand or sandy loam soils. Not recommended for use on Mallee soils of Victoria and South Australia. The activity may be reduced in soils with very high organic matter or clay content.

APPLICATION

  • Apply Imtrade Cyanazine 900 WG Herbicide immediately after sowing for pre-emergence applications (except in WA).
  • Uniformly apply with a ground boom sprayer fitted with Fan Jets, fully calibrated for even application.
  • DO NOT apply by aircraft.
  • Suggested spray volume: between 80 and 200 liters per hectare at a speed of 10 to 15 kph.
  • Effective weed control may last 4-10 weeks, depending on soil conditions.
  • For pre-planting applications, apply IMMEDIATELY prior to planting for maximum residual control.
  • Irrigation immediately after spraying enhances results.

MIXING

  • Add Imtrade Cyanazine 900 WG Herbicide to the half-filled spray tank while agitating.
  • Continue agitation while topping up the tank and during spraying.
  • Reseal partly used spray container immediately after use.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

Imtrade Cyanazine 900 WG Herbicide is a Group C Herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Imtrade Cyanazine 900 WG Herbicide and other Group C Herbicides may exist. Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of the herbicide to control resistant weeds.

COMPATIBILITY

  • Compatible with pendimethalin and trifluralin. Mixtures with these herbicides may be used for heavy infestations of annual ryegrass and wireweed.
  • Incorporation should be carried out according to the pendimethalin or trifluralin label recommendations.
  • Heavy rain following deep incorporation may result in leaching for shallow germinating weeds.

PROTECTION AND SAFETY

  • DO NOT apply under conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops or pastures.
  • DO NOT overlap spray bands to avoid double dosage that may harm crops and non-crop vegetation.
  • DO NOT graze or cut immature crops for stock feed on treated areas.
  • DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
  • DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
  • Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal.
  • DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Follow specific guidelines for recycling or disposal in a landfill.
  • DO NOT burn empty containers or product.
