GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Before opening, carefully read Directions for Use, Precautionary Statements, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions.

TIMING Cypershield ULV 40 Insecticide is recommended for application by aircraft equipped with suitable rotary-atomizers. Apply with a droplet size VMD (Volume Median Diameter) of 80-100 microns. Use as a contact and residual insecticide, applying at regular intervals for best results, preferably during egg-hatch.

APPLICATION/CROP CHECKING

  • Field Peas:

    • Apply as indicated by field checks.
    • Time application to coincide with egg hatching.
    • Lower dose requires a spray interval not exceeding 9 days.
    • Apply during cooler parts of the day or night.
    • Do not apply if rain is expected within 6 hours.
  • Cotton:

    • Apply as indicated by field checks.
    • Time application to coincide with egg hatching.
    • Lower dose requires a spray interval not exceeding 9 days.
    • Apply during cooler parts of the day or night.
    • Do not apply if rain is expected within 6 hours.

NOTICE: Helicoverpa (= Heliothis) armigera resistance in Northern New South Wales and Queensland. Adhere to the Summer Crop Insecticide strategy to contain pyrethroid resistance in Helicoverpa armigera, as developed by the Queensland Department of Primary Industries and the New South Wales Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. Failure to follow the strategy may result in widespread resistance affecting the future viability of summer cropping.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING Cypershield ULV 40 Insecticide is a Group 3A Insecticide. Some insect biotypes resistant to this and other Group 3A Insecticides may exist. Continuous use may lead to resistant individuals dominating the insect population. Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of the insecticide to control resistant insects.

MIXING Add the required quantity of Cypershield ULV 40 Insecticide directly to the spray tank. Do not mix with other products.

COMPATIBILITY Cypershield ULV 40 Insecticide should be used alone.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT Dangerous to fish. Avoid contamination of ponds, waterways, and drains. Do not dispose of this chemical or used containers in these areas.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK Dangerous to bees. Do not spray plants in flower while bees are foraging.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. If recycling, return clean containers to the recycler. If not recycling, bury empty containers below 500mm in a designated disposal pit, away from waterways and vegetation. Do not burn empty containers.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

  • Poisonous if swallowed. Will irritate the eyes and skin.
  • Sensitive workers should wear protective clothing.
  • Facial skin contact may cause temporary facial numbness.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale spray mist.
  • When preparing spray, wear cotton overalls, washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves, and face shield or goggles.
  • If product contacts the skin, wash the area immediately with soap and water.
  • If product contacts the eyes, wash them out immediately with water.
  • After use and before eating, drinking, or smoking, wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly with soap and water.
  • After each day's use, wash gloves, face shield or goggles, and contaminated clothing.
