GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - FARMALINX Dicam 500 Herbicide
Resistant Weeds Warning:
- FARMALINX Dicam 500 Herbicide belongs to the Benzoic acid group with the Disruptor of plant cell growth mode of action.
- It is classified as a Group I Herbicide for weed resistance management.
- There is a risk of naturally occurring weed biotypes developing resistance if the herbicide is used repeatedly.
- FARMALINX Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of FARMALINX Dicam 500 Herbicide to control resistant weeds.
- Apply when weeds are young, actively growing, and before the 3-5 true leaf stage.
Mixing:
- Add the required amount of the product directly to the tank.
- Mix thoroughly.
Application:
- Boom Application:
- Apply using a properly calibrated boom spray with not less than 50 liters of water per hectare unless specified otherwise.
- Aerial Application:
- Apply a minimum of 25 liters total spray volume per hectare.
- Fly as low as practical to minimize drift.
- High Volume Application:
- Apply a minimum of 1500 liters per hectare.
- Knapsack Application:
- A 15-liter knapsack treats 150 square meters.
Mimosa Control:
- Broadacre Application:
- Apply 2-2.4 L/ha in 60 liters of water per hectare. Helicopter application is preferred.
- High Volume Application:
- Apply 400 mL in 110 L water using ground equipment.
- Thoroughly wet all leaves and stems.
- Basal Bark Application:
- Apply 60 mL in 15 L water to plants of less than 5 cm basal diameter.
- Spray liberally around the base and 25-40 cm up the stem.
- Cut Stump Application:
- Apply 60 mL in 15 L water on plants up to 10 cm basal diameter.
- Cut trees close to ground level and spray the freshly cut surface.
Plant Back Periods for Conservation Tillage:
- Wait for the specified periods before planting crops into soils sprayed with the product.
Compatibility:
- FARMALINX Dicam 500 Herbicide is compatible with Terbutryn, Glyphosate, Chlorsulfuron, Metsulfuron, 2,4 D Amine, 2,4 D Ester, Diuron, Molinate, and Atrazines.
Protection Guidelines:
- DO NOT apply under conditions causing drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.
- Calibrate spray equipment accurately.
- Seal the container when not in use.
- Avoid drift or mist contact with desirable trees, crops, and plants.
- Wash out spray equipment thoroughly after use.
Protection of Livestock, Wildlife, Fish, Crustacea, and Environment:
- DO NOT use the container for any other purpose.
- DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, insecticides, seed, and fertilizers.
- DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
- Follow the instructions on the label attached to the container for proper disposal.
