General Instructions

Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide is a versatile contact and residual insecticide. It can be used as a protective treatment at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment to control existing larvae. Optimal results are achieved by spraying at egg hatch, with thorough coverage being essential for adequate control. Application during cooler parts of the day or night is recommended.

This insecticide can be applied with a water carrier or oil-based bulking agents such as D-C Tron Cotton Spray Oil or compatible ULV products.

Mixing

Low Volume and High Volume Applications with Water Carrier: For ground rig or aircraft applications, add the required quantity of Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide to water in the spray tank. Ensure thorough mixing with continuous agitation.

Ultra Low Volume (ULV) Applications with Oil-Based Bulking Agents: When applying via aircraft with oil-based bulking agents, mix Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide with D-C Tron Cotton Spray Oil or compatible ULV products. Add the mixing partner first, then, with the agitator in motion, add the required quantity of Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide directly to the spray tank. Do not mix with water, and ensure that no water is present in the spraying system.

Application

Low Volume and High Volume Applications with Water Carrier: Apply by ground or aircraft with a water carrier. Thorough coverage is crucial for adequate control. Use a non-ionic surfactant unless otherwise specified on the label of a tank mix partner. Application should be made during the cooler parts of the day or night.

• Ground Application (Water Carrier): For low volume spraying of field crops, use a total volume of 50-200L/ha. Use higher volumes for sweet corn, tomatoes, and tobacco. Apply as a fine spray, preferably using hollow cone nozzles with a droplet size of 150-200 microns.

• Aerial Application (Water Carrier): Do not apply to trellis tomatoes by aircraft. Use a minimum spray volume of 20L/ha. For spring/early summer application to cereals, linola, canola, rice, and other dense crops, apply in a total spray volume of 30 to 35L/ha.

Ultra Low Volume (ULV) Application by Aircraft: Mix Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide with D-C Tron Cotton Spray Oil or other compatible products. Apply in a minimum total spray volume of 1.5L/ha with suitable equipment to provide a droplet size of approximately 80-100 microns VMD. Applications should be made during cooler parts of the day or night, avoiding calm or very windy conditions.

Compatibility

Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide is compatible with various products including D-C Tron Cotton Spray Oil, Dithane M-45, Dicamba, Kocide, Nudrin 225, Parathion 500EC, Parathion M500, Predator 300, Ridomil, Select, Dimethoate, Diquat, Glyphosate, Tigrex, Jaguar, Simazine, Spinnaker, 2,4-D Amine, 2,4-D Ester, 2,4-DB, MCPA, and Paraquat. Do not mix with wettable powders and water dispersible granules before adding to the spray tank. It can be mixed with Dithane WDG with efficient agitation and immediate use.

Insecticide Resistance Warning

Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide is a Group 3A Insecticide. The occurrence of naturally resistant insect biotypes may reduce the effectiveness of this insecticide if used repeatedly. Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide to control resistant insects.

Protection of Livestock

Dangerous to bees. Do not spray on plants in flower while bees are foraging. Imtrade Dictate Duo 100 Insecticide has a deterrent effect on foraging bees for a short period after spraying. The risk to bees is reduced by spraying in early morning and late evening when bees are not foraging.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment

Dangerous to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not contaminate dams, rivers, drains, or streams with the chemical or used containers. Drift and run-off from treated areas may be hazardous to fish in adjacent sites.

Storage and Disposal (5L, 10L, 20L & 200L only)

Do not store below 4°C. Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Keep away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers. Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Empty containers should be broken, crushed, punctured, or buried in a disposal pit according to local regulations.

Envirodrum - Micro Matic Valve (110L)

Do not store below 4°C. Store the original sealed Envirodrum in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Keep away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers. Do not tamper with the Micro Matic valve or the security seal. Do not contaminate the Envirodrum with water or foreign matter. After each use, rinse the Micro Matic coupler, delivery system, and hoses with clean water and return the empty Envirodrum to the point of purchase.

Refillable Containers (1000L only)

Do not store below 4°C. Store the closed original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Keep away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers. The container is reusable and remains the property of the supplier. Do not rinse empty containers. Close all valves and return the empty container to the supplier for cleaning, relabeling, and refilling.

Safety Directions

Harmful if swallowed. Will irritate the eyes and skin. Facial skin contact may cause temporary facial numbness. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhaling vapor and spray mist. When preparing spray, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, a washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves, and a face shield or goggles. If the product comes in contact with eyes, wash immediately with water. After use and before eating, drinking, or smoking, wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly with soap and water. After each day's use, wash gloves, face shield or goggles, and contaminated clothing.
