General Instructions for GENFARM DIFENOCONAZOLE:

Mixing:

  • Add the required amount of GENFARM DIFENOCONAZOLE directly to the spray tank.
  • Mix well during the application process.

Application:

  • Thorough coverage is essential for effective results.
  • For aerial application, use 20 to 30 L water/ha.
  • For ground application, use at least 100 L water/ha.
  • Macadamia nuts: Apply by high volume (dilute) sprayer or concentrate sprayer.

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water up to the point of run-off.
  • Match the sprayer to the crop and operate for even coverage throughout the canopy.
  • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying (lower water volumes than run-off).
  • Match the sprayer to the crop for even coverage.
  • Determine dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
  • Calculate concentrate mixing rate based on the concentration factor.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with various insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
  • Consult industry guidelines and undertake competency training for concentrate spraying.

Resistance Warning:

  • GENFARM DIFENOCONAZOLE is a Group 3 fungicide (DMI group).
  • Fungicide resistance management is essential.
  • Resistant fungi may exist due to normal genetic variability.
  • Continuous use may lead to resistant fungi dominating the population.
  • Resistant fungi won't be controlled, resulting in reduced efficacy and yield loss.
  • No liability for losses resulting from the failure to control resistant fungi.

Precautions: Re-entry Period:

  • DO NOT enter treated areas until the spray has dried.
  • Wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and butyl rubber gloves.
  • Launder clothing after each day’s use.

  • Low hazard to bees, may be applied to plants any time.

  • Dangerous to aquatic organisms.
  • DO NOT spray within 5 m downwind of water bodies.
  • Avoid spray drift onto adjacent areas, especially wetlands, water bodies, or watercourses.
  • DO NOT contaminate dams, waterways, or drains with the product or its container.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in the original container, tightly closed, in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Triple rinse container for disposal; dispose of rinsate in the spray tank.
  • Dispose of undiluted chemical properly; do not burn empty containers and product.
  • Recycle cleaned containers at a drumMUSTER collection point.
  • For non-recyclable containers, deliver to an approved waste management facility or bury in compliance with regulations.
  • For refillable containers (110L, 1000L), return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
