GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Mixing:
With the agitator running, add DiPel DF onto the water in the partially filled tank.
Continue agitation and add the remaining water.
Use the spray within 12 hours of mixing.
If spraying is interrupted, ensure thorough agitation before resuming.
Addition of a spreader-sticker may enhance coverage on hard-to-wet crops.
If mixing with cupric hydroxide, use immediately and do not allow the mixture to stand.
Application:
DiPel DF must be ingested by the target insect, so thorough coverage is crucial.
Use dropper nozzles and a fine spray to improve coverage.
Do not spray past the point of run-off.
Treat when larvae are young for optimal effectiveness.
Under heavy pressure, apply higher recommended rates with shorter intervals between applications.
Retreatment may be necessary if rain falls shortly after treatment.
Avoid using broad-spectrum insecticides during a DiPel DF spray program to maximize beneficial insect assistance.
Note: Effectiveness may diminish due to pests developing tolerance or resistance. Contact your local Valent BioSciences representative if control is unacceptable.
Compatibility:
DiPel DF is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides.
Do not apply as a tank mix with or within 2 days of applying alkaline products such as foliar nutrients, liquid fertilisers, or Bordeaux mixtures.
Resistance Warning:
DiPel DF belongs to Group 11 insecticides. Insecticide resistance may develop over time.
Consult with local authorities for resistance management strategies.
Valent BioSciences accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of DiPel DF to control resistant insects.
