GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Best results are obtained by applying Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide to cool, wet soil.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide is a member of the amide group of herbicides with diverse sites of action. For weed resistance management, this is a Group D Herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide and Group D Herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide or Group D Herbicides. Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide to control the resistant weeds. Advice as to strategies and alternative treatments that can be used should be obtained from your local supplier, consultant, local Department of Agriculture, Primary Industries Department, or an Imtrade representative.

SPRAY PREPARATION

Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide is a Wettable Granule formulation to be blended with water and applied as a spray. Granule formulations are designed to be added to large volumes of water and dispersed slowly under agitation. When using larger boomsprays and unable to add granules directly to a large volume in the tank via the top of the boomspray, pre-mixing may be necessary as follows:

1. Partly (30%) fill the boomspray tank with water.
2. Slowly add the required amount of Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide for the area to be sprayed into Granni Pot® or another pre-mixing vessel while agitating well.
3. Ensure high water volumes and DO NOT add to the spray tank until the pre-mix is fully dissolved. This may take several mixes to ensure the correct amount is added to the boomspray tank.
4. Add the pre-mixed Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide into the boomspray tank with the agitation system operating.
5. Fill up to the correct volume with water.
6. The mixture must be kept in suspension at all times by continuous agitation. Tank-mixtures should be tested for physical compatibility and efficacy before use. DO NOT mix with MCPA. If tank mixing, Imtrade Edge 500 WG Herbicide must be in suspension before adding other herbicides, insecticides, or surfactants. Wash sprayer thoroughly after use. DO NOT handle the water-soluble packaging with wet hands or wet gloves. Keep dry.

GROUP HERBICIDE D EQUIPMENT

Always ensure the sprayer is clean, using ChemAg Spray and Boom Cleaner as directed. It is recommended that for certain turf situations up to 100L/ha spray volume is required.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS

DO NOT apply to, or allow spray to drift onto crops, pastures, or non-target desirable plants, nor onto agricultural land scheduled for cropping or pasture, as injury to the crop or pasture may occur.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK

DO NOT graze sheep, cut for stock feed (including poultry and pigs) any treated areas (for 25 days after application).

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT

DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways by cleaning equipment, disposal of wastes or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in the closed original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. Keep away from contact with fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and seeds. Protect from frost. Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to the spray tank. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemical on-site. If recycling, replace the cap and return clean containers to the recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation, and tree roots. Empty containers and product should NOT be burnt.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

Will irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When preparing spray and using the prepared spray, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, a washable hat, and elbow-length PVC gloves. After use, wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly with soap and water. After each day's use, wash gloves and contaminated clothing.
