PRODUCT INFORMATION

Mode of Action: Imtrade Eradicator 450 Herbicide is a water-soluble liquid herbicide with a non-selective mode of action, effectively controlling a wide range of emerged annual and perennial weeds. It lacks residual activity and becomes inactive upon contact with the soil. The herbicide is absorbed by plant leaves and stems, translocating throughout the plant to the root system. It inhibits a plant enzyme, leading to a breakdown in the metabolic pathway and subsequent plant death.

Visual Effects: The efficacy of Imtrade Eradicator 450 Herbicide is characterized by gradual wilting, yellowing, and eventual complete browning of plants. The effects on annual weeds are typically visible in 3-7 days, while perennial weeds may take up to 14-21 days. The speed of translocation depends on climatic conditions such as temperature and moisture.

Application Timing: For optimal results, it is recommended to spray actively growing plants not under stress from factors like disease, water-logging, insect damage, or drought. To enhance absorption, it is advised to delay spraying if rainfall is expected. Rain within 6 hours after application or heavy rain within 2 hours may reduce efficacy.

Crop Establishment: When used before crop or pasture establishment, Imtrade Eradicator 450 Herbicide should not be applied until a suitable seedbed is present. Sowing should be delayed if a significant amount of dead weed matter or trash is present, requiring adequate seedbed preparation.

MIXING AND APPLICATION:

  • Boom Application:

    • Spray volumes of 25-100L water/ha are recommended with a fan nozzle at pressures of 240-280 kPa. Boom height should ensure double overlap of spray patterns at the top of the weed canopy.

  • Wiper Application:

    • May be used in specific situations. Weeds should be at least 15cm above the crop, and the wiper equipment should be operated at least 10cm above the crop. Best results are obtained with lower speeds of application, and a double-pass application is recommended.

  • Aerial Application:

    • Minimum spray volume of 20L/ha for micronair and boom equipment. Droplet size should be 250–350 microns, and swath width should be 15–17 meters. Aerial application is only recommended in pasture or fallow situations before establishing a new crop or pasture or in pre-harvest sorghum.

  • APPLICATION IN HOT CONDITIONS:

    • Increase water volume to at least 30L/ha and droplet size to at least 300 microns VMD when the temperature reaches 25ºC.

SURFACTANT: The addition of surfactant may improve weed control, especially in situations with high water rates or low herbicide rates. Recommended surfactant rates are provided, and no other materials should be added except as directed on the label.

COMPATIBILITY: Imtrade Eradicator 450 Herbicide may be mixed with various products to enhance weed control and broaden the spectrum. Refer to the "Directions for Use" section for detailed information on tank mix situations.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND USAGE: Imtrade Eradicator 450 Herbicide should only be stored, mixed, or applied in plastic or plastic-lined, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, or fiberglass containers. The herbicide reacts with galvanized steel and unlined steel, forming hydrogen gas, which is highly combustible. Thoroughly wash all application equipment after use to prevent corrosion.
