GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Seed Treatment
This product does not adversely affect germination.
When Rhizobium cultures (inoculum) are added to seed, apply the fungicide first, allow it to dry, then apply the inoculum prior to sowing.
Seed treatment controls Black Spot, Fusarium spp., Ascochyta spp., and Botrytis cinerea pathogens present in pea seed.
It provides early protection to young pea plants from external Black Spot infections.
Seed treatment may alter seed flow characteristics. Calibrate the drill using treated seed before seeding.
Stored seed may lose viability, especially in hot or damp conditions.
FAIRGRO OPTI has no adverse effect on seed viability or seedling vigor for up to 15 months after treatment.
Test seed for germination in the year of use to ensure sufficient viable seed for optimum seedling density.
Treated seed carried over from previous seasons may not adequately control soil-borne pathogens (e.g., Pythium spp. and Fusarium spp.).
Treated seed is for sowing purposes only.
MIXING
Shake well before use.
Add water and product to the applicator tank and mix thoroughly.
Maintain agitation during use.
If the diluted product stands for an extended period, agitate well again before use.
Do not allow the product to dry out in application equipment, as flaking may occur and contribute to nozzle blockages.
