GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
MIXING FLOXOR 400 may be mixed with water or diesel. Mix only sufficient chemical for each day's use and avoid storing.
Mixing in Water: Half fill the spray tank with water, add FLOXOR 400, and complete filling. Agitate continuously for thorough mixing.
Mixing in Diesel: Half fill the tank with diesel, add FLOXOR 400, and agitate to mix contents.
Tank Mixtures: Add wettable powder or dry flowable formulations first, followed by suspension concentrates, water-soluble salts, and emulsifiable concentrate formulations (FLOXOR 400). Add spraying oils and surfactants last.
OILS AND SURFACTANTS
Oils: Use Uptake Spraying Oil at 500 mL/100 L of spray mix. Adjust for lower volumes.
Surfactants: Use non-ionic surfactant (e.g., BS1000®) at 100 mL/100 L where needed.
ATRAZINE
Avoid Hard Water: If unavoidable, add CALGON water conditioning agent at 100 g/100 L before adding any herbicide.
Agitation is Crucial: Vigorously and continuously agitate FLOXOR 400 plus atrazine tank mixes during mixing and application. Do not let the mixture stand without agitation for more than 2 hours.
Additional Agitation: Larger tanks may require additional mechanical agitation.
TOPIK 240 EC
Use Uptake Spraying Oil: For FLOXOR 400 + Topik 240 EC tank-mixes at 500 mL/100 L with a minimum of 250 mL/ha.
Do Not Mix: Avoid mixing if grass weeds are not actively growing. Use maximum label rate for Topik 240 EC.
GLYPHOSATE 450
Refer to Glyphosate Label: Follow Glyphosate 450 label for use rates and adjuvants. Do not use Glyphosate 450 at less than 1.2 L/ha in tank mixes with FLOXOR 400.
APPLICATION METHODS and WATER RATES
BROADCAST APPLICATION: Use boom sprayer with flat nozzles at 50 L/ha water. For sugarcane, use 100-400 L/ha.
GROUND DIRECTED APPLICATION: Use dropper nozzles in specific growth stages for crops.
AERIAL APPLICATION: Apply in a minimum volume of 35 L/ha water. Use calibrated equipment. Avoid high temperature, no wind, or wind towards crops.
WOODY WEED SITUATIONS
High Volume Application: Use handgun or knapsack for optimal coverage. Ensure thorough coverage.
Low Volume, High Concentrate: Use drench gun or gas-powered gun for uniform application.
Basal Bark and Cut Stump Application: Follow specific instructions for basal bark and cut stump methods.
CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT
Rinsing (Water-Based Sprays): Rinse thoroughly after using FLOXOR 400. Circulate clean water through the system.
Decontamination: Wash with alkali detergent before spraying cotton. Rinse and drain.
Cleaning (Diesel-Based Sprays): Use degreaser (e.g., Caltex Kwik-D-Grease) to remove diesel traces. Rinse and clean with alkali detergent. Do not use equipment for other purposes.
