General Instructions: Fertilizer Application
Sowing:
- Ensure treated fertilizer is dry before sowing with the crop.
- Treated fertilizer should be sown in the same furrow as the seed, not broadcast.
- Note that the flow rate of fertilizer may change after treatment.
- Calibrate the seeder with the treated material to ensure correct rates of fertilizer and fungicide are delivered.
- DO NOT mix seed with treated fertilizer.
Foliar Application:
- Check the crop regularly.
- Spray only if there is sufficient time in the season for rust to develop to a level causing significant yield loss.
Resistance Warning:
- Macro Protect Flutriafol 250 Fungicide is a Group 3 fungicide.
- For fungicide resistance management, be aware of the possibility of resistance development.
- Some naturally occurring fungi resistant to Macro Protect Flutriafol 250 Fungicide may exist.
- The resistant fungi may dominate if the fungicide is used repeatedly.
- Resistant fungi may not be controlled by Macro Protect Flutriafol 250 Fungicide, leading to reduced efficacy and potential yield loss.

Protections:
- Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:
- DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
- Triple or preferable pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to the spray tank.
- DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- For recycling, replace the cap and return clean containers to a recycler or designated collection point.
- If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and deliver empty packaging for appropriate disposal to an approved waste management facility.
- If no approved waste management facility is available, bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a disposal pit specifically marked.
- Compliance with relevant Local, State, or Territory government regulations is essential.
- DO NOT burn empty containers or product.
For Refillable Containers:
- Empty contents fully into application equipment.
- Close all valves and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
