FERTILISER APPLICATION - Genfarm Flutriafol Max In Furrow and Foliar Fungicide

Granulated Fertiliser:

  • Determine the volume of Genfarm Flutriafol Max needed based on common fertiliser application rates.
  • Ensure treated fertiliser is dry before sowing; apply in a band 3-4 cm below or to the side of the seed in the planting furrow.
  • Do not broadcast. Calibrate the seeder after treatment to ensure correct rates. Do not mix seed with treated fertiliser.

Liquid Fertiliser:

  • Premix Genfarm Flutriafol Max with water (2:1 to 4:1 water to fungicide ratio is preferred).
  • Add the required volume of the premix to liquid fertiliser in a mixing tank.
  • Apply the mixture at planting with continuous agitation, injecting it into the planting furrow 3-4 cm below or to the side of the seed.
  • Do not apply as a broadcast spray. Do not mix seed with the premix.

FOLIAR APPLICATION:

  • Monitor the crop carefully. Spray only if there is sufficient time for rust to develop to a level causing significant yield loss.
  • Aerial application must be carried out with closed mixing/loading systems.

RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • Group 3 Fungicide: Genfarm Flutriafol Max belongs to the DMI group of fungicides.
  • Fungicide resistance management is crucial. Some fungi may naturally develop resistance through genetic variability.
  • Resistant fungi may dominate if Group 3 fungicides are overused, leading to reduced efficacy and potential yield loss.
  • Resistance detection is challenging; Landmark Operations Limited is not liable for losses resulting from resistance.

PRECAUTIONS: RE-ENTRY:

  • Low Exposure (e.g., irrigation, scouting): Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried. Wear appropriate protective clothing.
  • Medium Exposure (e.g., weeding mature plants): Avoid entry for 3 days, wear protective clothing.
  • High Exposure (e.g., hand harvesting): Avoid entry for 8 days, wear protective clothing.
  • Protective clothing should include cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent) and chemical-resistant gloves.
  • Launder clothing after each day's use.
