GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING

Farmalinx FOSET 80 WP Fungicide belongs to the Phosphonates group (Group 33) of fungicides. Continuous and repeated use of this fungicide or other Group 33 fungicides may lead to the development of naturally occurring fungi resistant to these chemicals. Resistant fungi may not be controlled by Farmalinx FOSET 80 WP Fungicide, resulting in reduced efficacy and potential yield loss. Detection of resistant fungi before use is challenging, and Farmalinx Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of the product to control resistant fungi.

EXPORT OF TREATED PRODUCE

For growers planning to export treated produce, it is essential to note that Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) or import tolerances might not be established in all markets. Before using FOSET 80 WP, growers should check with Farmalinx Pty Ltd for the latest information on MRLs and import tolerances.

MIXING

To prepare the spray mixture, fill the spray tank with clean water at least half of the desired amount and start agitation. Add the required quantity of Farmalinx FOSET 80 WP Fungicide directly to the water and complete filling to the final volume. Continue agitation. Do not create a slurry or paste before adding to the tank.

APPLICATION

For effective disease control, ensure even and thorough coverage of the treated area. Use appropriate spray equipment and provide sufficient water for adequate coverage. Equipment settings and water volume may need adjustment based on the crop's growth stage.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR TREE CROPS

Dilute Spraying:

• Use a sprayer designed for high spray volumes, up to the point of run-off.
• Set up the sprayer to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
• Apply sufficient spray volume to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.
• Determine the required spray volume by testing or following industry guidelines.
• Add the specified amount of product for each 100 L of water. Spray to the point of run-off.

Concentrate Spraying:

• Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
• Set up and operate the sprayer for even coverage.
• Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume.
• Calculate the concentrate mixing rate based on the dilute spray volume and chosen concentrate spray volume.

GROUP 33 FUNGICIDE

Farmalinx FOSET 80 WP Fungicide is classified as a Group 33 fungicide.

CROP SAFETY

Ornamentals:

• FOSET 80 WP has been used on a variety of ornamental plant species without damage.
• However, some species and varieties may be sensitive, so it's advisable to test on a small number of plants before large-scale use.

Tree Crops:

• Mixtures of FOSET 80 WP with foliar fertilizers may cause fruit russeting under certain conditions.

COMPATIBILITY

• FOSET 80 WP is compatible with several fungicides. Conduct a jar test to determine compatibility and always add it to the mixture last.
• Constantly agitate before and during application.
• Avoid mixing with more than one additional pesticide in the tank.
• Test mixtures on a small scale before large-scale use.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT

• The fungicide is dangerous to fish.
• Avoid contaminating streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a closed original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
• Rinse containers thoroughly before disposal.
• Dispose of undiluted chemicals properly at an approved waste management facility.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS
