GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide is a selective herbicide that is absorbed by both foliage and roots. It acts by inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS), an enzyme crucial for root and shoot growth in sensitive plants. The herbicide is rapidly translocated within the plant. Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide is designed for use in Wheat and Triticale. It can be applied as a pre-plant, incorporated by sowing, for the control of Wild Turnip, suppression of Barley Grass and Brome Grass, or as a post-emergent for the control of Silvergrass, Wild Radish, Wild Turnip, and suppression of Barley Grass, Brome Grass, Wild Mustard (Sinapsis arvensis), and Wild Oats.

PRE-EMERGENT APPLICATION:

  • Apply to bare soil before sowing or at sowing and incorporate by the sowing operation to ensure thorough mixing.
  • Incorporate immediately after spraying if applied to dry soil and sowing is to be delayed to prevent loss by wind erosion.
  • For optimal results, apply to moist soil when follow-up rain is likely within 7-10 days.
  • Weeds may emerge but will become stunted and uncompetitive soon after application. Final results may take some weeks to show.

POST-EMERGENT APPLICATION:

  • Target young and actively growing weeds.
  • Use higher rates under heavy weed pressure and for larger weeds.
  • A follow-up spray with a suitable herbicide may be necessary for controlling subsequent germinations.
  • Best results are achieved when rainfall wets the soil to a depth of 5 to 7.5 cm within 7-10 days of application.

DELAYED OR ADVERSE CONDITIONS:

  • Reduced levels of control may result from delayed treatment or adverse conditions such as dry, waterlogged, frosty, or diseased conditions, nutrient deficiency, high insect pressure, or previous herbicide treatment.

SOIL PERSISTENCE:

  • Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide will remain in the soil for a period, with persistence influenced by environmental conditions like soil pH, moisture, temperature, and organic matter.

CROP SAFETY:

  • Crops other than Wheat and Triticale may be sensitive to low soil concentrations of Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide.
  • Prior to use, consider crop rotation plans, especially for crops sensitive to the herbicide. Consult Crop Safety and Crop Rotation Guidelines for detailed information.

MIXING:

  • Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide is a water-dispersible granular herbicide that readily mixes with water.
  • Follow specific mixing instructions:
    1. Partly fill the spray tank with water.
    2. Start agitation.
    3. Add the correct amount of Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide with agitation running.
    4. Continue agitation while topping up the tank with water and during spraying.
    5. In tank mixes, ensure Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide is in suspension before adding companion herbicide or surfactant.
    6. Use the spray mix within 24 hours of preparation.

APPLICATION:

  • Apply by boom spray with flat fan nozzles, ensuring good spray coverage.
  • Apply with 40 to 100L of water/ha. Use higher water volumes for dense crop or weed conditions.
  • Avoid overlapping boom runs.
  • DO NOT apply by aircraft.

SPRAY CLEANUP:

  • Thoroughly rinse the sprayer with water when used for spraying Wheat or Triticale crops.
  • For other crops, follow specific cleanup steps provided, including the use of household chlorine bleach for tank sterilization.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Read and follow all label directions for tank-mix products.
  • Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide is compatible with specific herbicides for pre-emergent and post-emergent applications.
  • Incompatible products are listed, and caution is advised when using chlorine bleach.

CROP ROTATION AND RESISTANT WEEDS:

  • Consider crop rotation plans, especially for sensitive crops.
  • Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide belongs to the sulfonylurea group (ALS Inhibitor), and resistance management is crucial.
  • Avoid repeated use of Imtrade Frenzy 750 Herbicide and tank mix with herbicides having different modes of action.
  • Seek advice for alternative treatments and strategies to manage resistant weeds.

Always follow safety instructions, wear appropriate protective gear, and adhere to environmental protection guidelines during herbicide handling and application.
