GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

MIXING: For spray applications, add the required amount of Generifos 500EC Insecticide slowly to water in the spray tank while stirring or agitating. Continuous agitation is necessary during spraying.

APPLICATION:

  • Ground: Apply recommended rates per hectare in sufficient water to ensure thorough coverage. Refer to the Directions for Use for specific details.
  • Aircraft: Apply in 10-50 liters of water per hectare.

INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING: Generifos 500EC Insecticide belongs to Group 1B insecticides. Insecticide resistance management is crucial, as naturally-occurring resistant biotypes may emerge. The product's effectiveness on resistant insects could be significantly reduced. Grow Choice Pty Ltd disclaims liability for losses resulting from the failure of Generifos 500EC Insecticide to control resistant insects. PRECAUTIONS:

RE-ENTRY TO TREATED AREAS:

  • Field Crops, Tree Crops, and Vines: Restrict entry until spray deposits have dried. If early entry is necessary, wear protective clothing and gloves. Launder clothing after each day’s use.
  • Greenhouses: Entry is allowed only after spray deposits have dried, and proper ventilation is ensured. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and a half-face respirator if entry is required. Clothing must be laundered after use.
  • Cotton Chippers: Entry is permitted after spray deposits have dried. Wear appropriate protective clothing.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT: Generifos 500EC Insecticide is highly toxic to fish, aquatic invertebrates, birds, and reptiles. Avoid contamination of water bodies and sensitive areas. Do not reapply within 7 days.

SPRAY DRIFT MANAGEMENT: Implement strategies to minimize spray drift. Adverse weather conditions or specific equipment may cause drift. Avoid spraying near sensitive areas, and follow drift management practices outlined in relevant manuals.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK: Dangerous to bees. Avoid spraying flowering plants when bees are foraging.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, in the original closed container.
  • Triple rinse or pressure rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemical on-site. Cleaned containers can be recycled or disposed of according to regulations.
  • Do not burn empty containers or the product.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • The product is poisonous if absorbed through skin contact, inhalation, or ingestion.
  • Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders and cumulative poisoning.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin; wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and a half-face respirator during handling and application.
  • Wash contaminated skin and clothing immediately.
